new blog: A Theme Park Pet Peeve

It was a summer afternoon in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The heat index had me wondering why on earth we visited this park on that specific day. It was a very hot 105 degrees. It would have been 100 degrees, but because it was the Animal Kingdom, add an extra 5 degrees on to the heat index because of the park’s foliage and plant life.

Oh, my gosh! That could have written by me, substituting Yak n Yeti for the Pizzafari, AND add at least 10 more minutes to the wait time.

What are people thinking!?! My dh went forward to try and find out what the hold up was and the people directly in front of us (they were second in line) told him that the whole wait was a result of one family trying to decide what to eat, then asking multiple questions, then trying to decide how to pay. I pretty much go with the flow but this type of behavior bothers me because it shows such a lack of consideration for other people.
