I have a Blaze pizza right around the corner from me. Very inconsistent. If it's not busy, you get a decent pie. If it's busy, forget it. Lost orders, wrong orders and totally burnt on the bottom. These are very thin crust pizzas so the edges can get burnt easily. They do have gluten free options which is nice. Interested to see what the guys say.

Great review.... Im happy that Disney Springs finally has a good pizza stop... Im actually thinking of taking a quick 3 day trip and spending all 3 days at Disney Springs and not even stepping foot in the parks....

Looks good. I wanted to go in there tonight but the line was too long. I'm hoping to go tomorrow after work instead.

Looks great. Thanx, guys. Kind of reminds me of Pie Five. Good ingredients, assemboled as you ask for them and watch, and good product, but comes out a little lukewarm for my taste due to short time in oven. Didn't sound like Blaze was though.

'Course there IS no pizza like JOISEY pizza! :)

Looks good in the pics and video. We'll definitely check it out next trip. I'm a little curious about one thing, though. The pizzas look charred. Can folks who have been there comment on that? I don't mind well done but I don't want black.

I see Gorechick already mentioned this. Can anyone else speak to that?

I don't understand why Disney has never been able to produce a decent pizza on property.

I dunno, Steve, but the few times I've been to a wood-fired and woodburning oven type place, they've all seemed thin, and pretty blackened to me. I thought it was being around the "live fire" that does that, instead of indirect heat, but certainly no expert, since Iv'e only been to that type of place a few times. Seems like they've EXPLODED in popularity the last few years though - you know - the "latest culinary trend". ( Just like TexMex and like places were for awhile, then burger joints, then ice cream and milkshake places, cupcake places, etc.) Take anything that works and build it to DEATH. Just like the culinary concepts of salted caramel, different sea salts, kale, fresh mozzarella, sustainable this and that - all have been "trends", and clubbed to death, IMHO.

I like the price point and build your own idea, but I can't taste it now as I pack for Wildwood.

I just left there - I hate burned crust and it was fine. It looked a little dark in spots but there was no burnt taste at all.

The standard crust is a bit thin but not bad. I'd probably order the "high rise" crust next time. The pizza was super hot.

Doesn't compare to NY pizza, but it's better than anything else I've had since moving to Florida, and the price wasn't terrible either.

I think a lot has to do with the quality/type of water for the dough -Via supposedly sources their water. Not sure why any other part of the pizza is sub-par, but that would explain the dough.

I've heard the same. That goes for bread and soft pretzels too. That's why you can't get a decent hoagie or pretzel too far from Philadelphia.

Or bagel, don't forget yumbo bagels with that perfect texture, both inside & out!!
