Mission:Space
I don't think there's any attraction in the world that gives you more chances to chicken out. I counted at least four prominent warning signs on the way in, each accompanied by an announcement and an invitation to skip the simulation. Don't do it! As a simulation, Mission:Space is a resounding success in giving the "astronaut experience" to everyone who has ever dreamed of being one.

Those expecting a "thrill ride" may be disappointed, but M:S was never intended to compete with serious coasters, slingshots, or tower drops. Although it's relatively gentle compared with those types of attractions, it still gets your attention! Those with motion sickness issues should take their medication or consider skipping this one. I only experienced a mild disorientation during the launch sequence, just enough to make it fun.

Of course things could always be improved. The launch gantry could have been more convincing. I would have liked to spend some quality time with Olympus Mons after arriving at Mars. But overall M:S accomplishes just what it set out to do, and I'll be going back!

Mickey's Philharmagic
When did 3D animation become this good?! Seeing many of the favorite Disney characters brought to life in this attraction was a joy that brought tears to my eyes. If only the original films could have been done (or redone!) in 3D...

There are probably reasons why that wouldn't work, but this attraction makes you believe it's possible. I wish we had seen this one twice.

"Wishes" Fireworks Show
While very impressive just as a fireworks show, the important change is that the show is now a story, with narration and music, and fireworks perfected timed to them. As a result, you really need to be there (in MK) to experience it. Finally, MK has an evening show worthy of comparison with Illuminations and Fantasmic.

Since you mentioned the many chicken exits on M:S, when is the absolute last time one can take the exit before going on the simulator? My wife will not do the simulator part, but we know from experience not to miss everything leading up to it a ride.

My DH and DS went last week. They lost the other half of their crew right when it was time to buckle in!:)

jeankeri is right. The last time you can chicken out is when you are standing there looking at your seat! Actually, even if you are IN your seat and they haven't sealed the compartment yet, you could still unbuckle, step out, and ask to be excused.
