New AP Rates Are Out

Just called and had AP rate applied to my 5-10 to 5-17 ressie. Sorry, I am still asleep and don't have any other info. I was told that I could have the DDP added to my discounted room.

Looks like a savings of about $36 for the moderates. I guess everyone is on the phone now. I can't wait to see how everyone does. (I've got my ressie with my DVC points), but have lots of friends waiting for these codes (I've already emailed them).

Whenever I call for an AP discounted room, I usually asked what's available for AP holders. Most likely the website and emails will show up later this afternoon.

I got for Polynesian LAGOON Concierge (no AP discount availability for garden concierge): $579 + tax per night. Rack rate is $670 + tax per night. So that's $91 off per night. That's not a real lot, but it's about $24 per night better than the AAA rate I currently have.

I was told I HAD to buy DDP to get it! But the CM was either misinformed and pushing the DDP on me.

I didn't ask the rate per night but I got about $62 more off my room rate compared to what I was paying with AAA for 6 nights standard room at Pop 5/4 to 5/11.

I was paying $577.58 for 6 nights room only with AAA. The meal plan is about $288 for 1 adult/1 child for 6 nights so that would be $865.58. I booked AP DDP for $803.20.

Was anyone able to book AP without DDP?

Hi! We are new AP holders and this is our first time applying a discount. We have a reservation at the WL for April 16-20 and when I called about the discount, I was told that the only resorts offering the AP discount are SSR, OKW, CS, and POP. I was just wondering how you got a discount at the Poly?????? I still saved money by dropping the base ticket to purchase the dining plan, but was just curious if I should call back and speak to somebody else about the resort?

I was offered dining plan but I was not told you had to book it to get an AP discount room rate. Unfortunetly no discount was available for POLY on my dates (5/1 - 5/11) and actually they said nothing was coming up for any monorail resorts I'm holding my AAA rate for now and hoping for general code, I had had luck on that same time last year when AP rate was available.

On hold, but I have a feeling it's not going to be a discount I'm happy with. I'll probably be keeping my "cheap" rate for the Swan that I was able to book months ago! $91 off a deluxe, while it's better than nothing, doesn't take much of a dent off of Disney's regular season prices!

I held a reservation last night in anticipation that rates would be out today. The CM was doing the sell job of his life trying to convince me that I should add the DDP to my reservation. As I told him, if you guys had left the plan alone, maybe I would consider it. But in it's present form, NO THANK YOU!
