By the way everyone, I added a link in my signature that goes to some pictures from our 2002 Trip. Will be adding more over time. These are some of my favorites.

Enjoy!

GREAT PICS! Beautiful family....

I absolutely LOVE the pic of your daughter and the balloon. :teeth: Isn't that just the look we are searching for when we take our children on these trips?

Great pix, dude! That pic with the Mickey balloon is TOO precious!!

Ratpack ~
Yup, guess we'll miss each other AGAIN!! Hey, I didn't even think I was returning to WDW this soon! (uhhhh, NOT soon enuff fer me, tho';) !)

It will be "lobby view" North Wing...try to request a floor as high as possible.

We will soon be heading to WL for our first time. We've been to Disney a lot but never stayed in a deluxe. We will be going in September with my parents and sister, dh and dd (2 yr. old) I've tried to read most of these posts but I know I've missed some. I apologize for the repetitive questions.

1. Can we request a coffee maker? My mother has to have several cups each morning.

2. How likely is it that we will get connecting rooms if we requested them when I made the reservation? We will have two rooms, one with 3 adults and the other with 2 adults and a toddler. It'll make it easier for my mom to watch our dd if she can put her to bed in one room and go back in forth between the rooms.

3. I know a lot of people are given complimentary upgrades at check-in. We booked a standard and the only I'm hoping not to get is the area over the delivery trucks. If I want to see if any upgrades are available at check-in, how likely would it be to get a woodsview? Is that a higher upgrade than the courtyard? I'd love for my dd to be able to see the castle from our room. However, I won't be disappointed if we don't get upgraded either because I'm so excited to be going to WL.

4. We have PS for Chef Mickey's breakfast at 8:45. Will we be able to take to the boat to the Contemporary and get there in time?

Thanks for any help.

Jen

I'd like to announce the birth of the "Future WL Vets":
my niece and nephew (as well as AspiringCindy's, although I'm the CUTER aunt!), Baby Matthew and Baby Rebecca!!!

Congrats Kimmar!! Love the names!! I have a Matthew who just turned 1. He would have been a Rebecca if he had been a girl!!

Congratulations Kimmar & AspiringCindy
. I also want to include thanks for the fine job you do on this thread. Everyone in helpful and cordial and I think that is because of your effort and the tone you set..

Hey, Fred!

Love the pics, thanks for sharing. Julia is really too cute and the balloon pic IS priceless!!

Housekkeeping will bring a coffee maker, coffee is extra. or bring your own.

Kimmar, you must be delusional! Besides everyone knows the younger sister(ME) is the cutest aunt!:teeth:
Just a thought: I wonder if there is a world record of...The youngest guest at WDW? We'll have to figure out a way to get these 2 littles ones to WL!

Looking at my notes, you should be able to see the fireworks from MK if your standard room is close to the first wing. Woodsview is the next upgrade and then Courtyard. You can call CRO to see how much more the rate would be.
Tell your Mother the coffee in RF is very good. I bought the 20oz refillable mug and walked down and filled it up in the morning. I smoke, but my DD and DGD don't and we had a nonsoking room, so I sat outside and had a smoke with my coffee. She may not want to do that, but somone could run down for her.
I am sure someone on here can help you with the rest of your concerns.

Please bear with me because this thread is a mile long so finding my answers would take forever. Hope y'all don't mind:

1) What is the earliest breakfast PS I should make to Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare? I have to use the WDW transportation.

2) Going to Disney Quest at Downtown Disney is a must for my teen. Last time we got dropped off by a bus clear on the other side and it took forever to walk over to Disney Quest (my aching feet!). Is there another bus stop or better idea?

3) Is Cirque Du Soliel worth seeing? How long is the show?
Do you take the same transporation as going to Disney Quest?

4) I will have a 7pm departure flight. First, what is the best time to leave for the airport (using a Town Car service). Second, how late will they let you check out and will they just store your luggage until you are ready to leave?

Thanks for answering all of these questions!

imadisneyfanatic - Can't help you with the PS. There used to be 3 stops at DD - marketplace, pleasure island and west side. I have no idea if they are still using all of them. I think West side is the closest to DQ and Cirque. The next closest would be Pleasure Island. Maybe the transportation board can answer your bus and air questions if you don't get answers here.

Last summer they swere still doing at least two stops at DTD, one at marketplace and the other was at PI I believe.

AspiringCindy ~
Wellllll, you ARE the YOUNGEST, I'll give ya THAT!!;) As for those 2 cuties, I'm NOT gonna take 'em with me to WDW, although I WILL bring them back some goodies!:teeth:

imadisneyfanatic ~
We had ressies for 7:45 at Chef Mickey's. We picked up a bus at 7AM sharp from CBR and arrived the CR by 7:25, plenty of time to make our PS's. I like the thought of having breakfast at CM, because 1) it's a buffet and you can get your food immediately and 2) you can just hop on the monrail afterwards....never did 1900 Park Faire, but I plan to this trip! As for the buses at DTD, did you get off at the first "loop" (near McD's and RFCafe)? The bus stops again, much closer to Cirq and DQ.....As for the luggage, YES they absolutely will store it for you. Call that AM for bell services to take your luggage for storage and you cango to bell services right by the front door of the lobby to pick it up.

Any headed to WL, will you get me an update on the little Duck? If you think of it.
Thanks
