Neverland Party Pics and THANKS to Natalie!

Another mom asked me to make these gift tags for her little girls for their next trip to Disney. She found "tink's pixie bath dust" at Wal-mart which would make a great party favor. To save money you can purchase small containers or plastic bags to divide up the bath dust then add this tag to it for all of the little girls that attend your Neverland Party.

What an awesome and creative party you had! At this moment we are doing my niece's birthday party planning. She decided on Princess Jasmine...very few items with just Jasmine:headache: Next year she wants Alice in Wonderland. In our small town in S. Texas, there is a lady that makes the most creative cakes. This year she is making the dessert on the bottom cake and the top layer will be jasmine's castle. Your ideas are very unique, and I am sure there are many people that would compensate you for your designs. A little extra money always helps right. For example, my bestfriend is always doing wreaths and christmas bows for other people. Seems easy to do, but many of us are not as creative:)

Dolly, you are one talented and creative lady! JT is a lucky boy!

I am trying to work on ideas for my daughters 3rd birthday. We are hoping to do a Findning Nemo party do you have any suggestions on where I might find designs for invites or party favours? I'm new to the disign thread and so need some guidance.
Thanks Alison

For the best party ideas EVER...go to www.birthdaypartyideas.com.

If you want personalized invitations and party favors. Start two threads on this board...one for a "Finding Nemo" invitation. You can give the party specifics or let DISigners know that you will send them a pm with the specifics.

Then start another thread requesting sucker wrapper, candy bar wrapper...what ever you are wanting to make for the party.

Dolly,

Your ideas are absolutely amazing, I am so inspired and so excited to find someone else that loves to do so much for their kiddos birthday. I love to create new things that the kids will love and this gives me so much inspiration. My son just turned 3 in Sept. and my daughter 1 in June so now I have plenty of time to get started on their next birthday. In the meantime, this gives me tons of inspiration for our trip in April, I can't wait to suprise everyone with lots of these ideas!!!

Dolly you are incredible!!! I LOVE your work! :)

I am also doing a Peter Pan themed party for my 4 year old son. I would love to ask you a few questions but am new here and the system won't allow me to pm you. How can I email you?

I made the CD Holder with plain white cardstock...you can get one holder per 8.5x11 inch cardstock and you can find a blank CD Holder template to add your images to (and a bunch of other great ones...including a CD label template) at:
http://www.jersgirl.com/temps.html

I made and printed all of the favors at home including the crayon box...you can get the template for it at the website above as well.

Everything is gorgeous! I am totally into digital scrapbooking, but I have recently discovered hybrid projects like the crayon boxes, etc. The site with the templates is fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing that. I aspire to do ONE project like yours for my DS's next birthday. You went above and beyond with all this awesome stuff. What a fun party!

BTW, how did you cut the M&M wraps? Did you just use scissors? Did you use an exacto knife? Was that one from that site, too?

Yes I used scissors and it was a template from www.jersgirl.com. It is called a "candy tent". I love her things. Keep looking on our forum...I'm doing a cars party this year and will post pics of all the things that I made in a few weeks after the party is over.

Dolly, my twin girls are having a peter pan party soon, could you contact me as I need your assistance on a few things. I love what you did...you are amazing.
Thank you.

WOW and I thought I went all out at my son's birthday party. We did a Lego Theme and I hired a company to bring in 50,000 Lego's and they made all kinds of things and played for about 2 hours. I bought all my things from table decorations, to the gift bags and would have loved to have saved all that money using these ideas. Guess I know what I'll do for next year!!! Thanks so much for sharing and showing your pictures.

I am in Georgia. The website is Buildfun.com. The owner and his son came to our town (I rented the Park and Rec Building) and they were wonderful. Good with kids and kept them involved the whole time. I didn't have kids running all over the place or into other things. It was great!!

Does anyone know where I can get a Wendy outfit?

I purchased a Wendy costume on etsy from this seller:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/itshandmadebymelanie?ref=seller_info
here is a link to her Wendy costume...her pricing is very reasonable for a sewn costume:
http://www.etsy.com/transaction/36679868

If you send her a message through etsy, even if she isn't currently selling a wendy dress, she will set up a sell item for you.

Here is a link to a dress pattern that looks like Wendy's dress:
Here is the link: http://www.sensibility.com/pattern/main/?page_id=8
Here are pics of the dress that was made from the pattern...she used crepe:

Dolly, do you make dresses? What do you charge?

Nope...I'm crafty, but I'm not a seamstress other than a few things like curtains that you can basically straight line sew. If you notice in the post...I put, "I purchased a Wendy costume on etsy from this seller".

You are phenomenal!!! Between you and Natalie you could be major players in the kids party biz! I think I see a cupcake party in my grandkids future!

Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous ideas!
