Neverland Party Pics and THANKS to Natalie!

Amazing Job! I can't believe you did ALL that work. I hope your guests were impressed!!!!
I loved your stars sucker holders and think I'll steal that idea as my daily disney treat for my boys!

What size did you make the stars? I know the originals are quite large!

I made the sucker holders 4x4 inches and was able to fit 4 on an 8.5x11 piece of paper.

By any chance would you do the color box for me? Just the template. I would like to do the size for 24ct. in a 4 park theme or princess theme. I am very computer illiterate when it comes to pasting and copying especially into word doc. I never can get anything to work in word...I can print it myself but not able to do the pasting and copying stuff...

TIA, Danette

I'm on my way out of town...but will see if I can come up with something when I return from my trip that is general that everyone might be able to use.

Thanks Dolly for the crayon box instructions! I meant to ask you about them. Got the template from Jersgirl.com. So print on white card stock, fold, voila? I am sorry if you included that part and I missed it.

Thank you, Dolly! :worship: I started working on it and now I can't stop! :rotfl:

I think they're going to be great! :thumbsup2

I'm so glad...just remember to print one first to make sure that it is the correct size. I would hate for you to waste a lot of paper and ink if the dimensions aren't right.

Yes...white card stock, trim along the edges and you will have to make a few cuts to make the flaps on the top and the bottom. I looked at a regular crayon box to see how the flaps inside the cover were cut to determine where the cuts should be made.

Then use a bone folder tool to score, crease and smooth the fold lines. Finally, use double sided tape to secure the box together on the side with the extra tab, and I also used it on the bottom flap to make sure that the crayons didn't fall out of the bottom.

As requested...here is a "one world...four parks" crayon holder for a 24 crayon pack if you want a special "disney" crayon holder for your child. I left one side blank so that you can insert a text box and personalize for your child.

Crayon4Parks1World.jpg

To print: Open up a word document and set the margins to .5 in the "page setup" and make sure the paper orientation is set to landscape.

Then copy and paste the crayon box image directly from this thread. Next, check the picture size by clicking on the image then go to "format" then click on "picture" in the drop down menu then click on the "size" tab and it should be 7.24 x 8.51 inches. Before you print a bunch of these and waste ink and paper...print one and put together to make sure the size is correct by either sizing it against a 24 crayon box from the store or putting crayons in it to make sure that they fit. I don't want you to waste ink and paper if for some reason the dimensions that worked for me don't work for you.

To personalize for your child or family...here is how to insert a text box:
• First copy and paste the image you want to add a name, word or words to.
• Next make sure that your cursor is below the image that you want to insert a text box over by hitting return twice.
• Then look for the tab at the top of word that says "insert", click on it and scroll down and click on "text box".
• Next, a big box will show up on the screen that says text box...ignore this box but look for your mouse that will show up as an +. Move the +/mouse to where you want your text box to go then left click and drag the mouse to make the size box you want for the area you want the wording to go.
• Then go back up to the top of word and click on "format" and click on "text box" in the drop down menu.
• Look for the tab that says "colors and lines". In the fill section make sure the color box says "no color". In the line section make sure the color says "no line". Then the background will show through behind whatever text you type in the box and there won't be a line around the text box.
• Now you can type whatever you want inside the box by clicking inside the box and choosing font and size.
• If the box isn't the right size you can drag the corners and sides to make it the right size.

My DS2 birthday is in December and I think we will be doing a Peter Pan theme. Your party decorations are great! Where did you get your invitations? Is that from Natalie too? Do you mind sharing the games/activities that you did? I was planning on doing a Pirate theme party but this is way better and DS2 loves Peter Pan so this is perfect! Anything that you could share would be great! I would love any advice or ideas!

Great job! and thanks again for the autograph cover you did for me!

I made the invitations and most everything that you see. Natalie made the image of Peter Pan and Cpt. Hook fighting on top of the "JT" letters, the Peter Pan and Tink Stars holding the suckers and the artwork with my son's name with Cpt. Hook and Peter Pan on the CD Holder (but I did all of the wording and the image of my son in Neverland on the backside and I made the CD Holder). I did all of the DISign work for the invitations, the candy wrappers, crayon box, etc.

Send me a PM with your email address and I will send you a list of games, etc. that I did for his party.

Very, very nice!! I especially love the centerpiece idea. May have to use that for our next event for the non-profit I work for.

My son and daughter's birthday is in January and I am planning a Neverland party for them. It's a great party to suit both genders and they both love the movie Peter pan. We are going to Disney December 4-9th so I am hoping to get some great pictures with Peter Pan, Wendy, and Cpt. hook to use at the party. I loooove your invitation. If you have time, would you do an invitation for me? Here's a little party information..... Place: Early Years Preschool, Date: Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Thanks so much! If you don't have time, I completely understand. Your work is amazing! :thumbsup2
