And how convenient was it?

We are contemplating a last minute trip over Thanksgiving break.

They are holding my reservations at Portofino till tomorrow, so I have to make some quick decisions.

The best flights I can find involve a 6:30am departure on Friday morning. We are contemplating checking out of the Portofino the Thursday, doing the parks till they close at 7:00pm, do Thanksgiving dinner at Trattoria and then heading over to the Hyatt at the airport terminal after dinner.

However, just wondering if it really is in the terminal and if it would really save us more time by staying there, ie: we could sleep in an extra few minutes.

And we would have a rental car we need to drop off, so that would add at least 20 more minutes to the morning.

So, if anybody has stayed at the Hyatt at the airport, let me know how close it is to the terminal and how easy it is to go from room to airline check-in.

Yes, I have. It's very convenient. You are right in the middle of the airport, just a couple minute walk to the monorail.

The TV's have the airline monitering brds so you can see if your flight is on time.

The rooms are quiet, too.

Edited to add - found MUCH better airfares through Kayak.com. Now flying United instead of Southwest and leaving later at the day. More time in the parks
