The tribe and I have always bought package deals that include the UPH. This time, I did a "piece" deal...everything seperate (much cheaper).. There will be five of us..technically all adults going for six days, 5 nights, mid-November, so I doubt that we will hit any waterparks. However, we will be traveling with friends who have never been to the world and would like to take them to Pleasure Island at least once. We will all be staying at the Boardwalk Villas. What do you think? 6 day park hopper plus or ultimate park hopper? The question I have with the ulimate park hopper is this: on the Disney site, they are priced by nights...so what would I need? We will be staying 5 nights but have the whole day to enjoy the parks on our day of departure (plane doesn't leave untill 7:30pm). Would the 5 night uph cover us on day six?

Just because you are going in mid-November, don't use that to rule out going to a water park! Florida weather will more often than not allow very comfortable swimming temperatures in November.

A 5 night UPH which will cover 6 days will run you $312.05. A 6 day PHP would run you around $280-300 depending on where you bought it.

A UPH expires on your last day. Anything you didn't get to do is lost. A PHP (both major park admissions and plus options) doesn't expire so any admissions your didn't use on this trip will still be good on the next trip you make whenever that may be.

I would opt for the 6 day PHP if it were me. You could even buy them ahead a few at a time to spread out the cost. They are cheapest from some of the Florida ticket wholesalers like Ticketmania, Florida Orlando Tickets, Paramount, Maple Leaf, etc.

We just bought 5 day PHoppers, no plusses. We will just pay a little extra if we decided to go to PI or a water park. I think in the long run, we will just go to the parks for 5 days, cause we are going to Busch Gardens & BG's water park.

Try using Paramount. There is a $15 delivery fee regardless of order size.

There prices are
Disney's 5 days Park Hopper & 2 Plus
$238(a) $189 (c)

Disney's 7 days Park Hopper & 4 Plus
$300 (a) $244(c)

The 7 day also comes with a free character brekafast certificate (valid almost everywhere except Cindi's and CP)

Save the unused days for the next trip. I think they are a great deal.

If I were to buy the 7 day Park Hopper/4 plus options for just my husband and myself, and my friends just bought a park hopper, would I be able to take the four of us to PI? In other words, could I use my 4 plus options in one shot to get the four of us into PI?

Sorry, that isn't allowed. Each person must have their own ticket. (You could just buy 2 PI admissions and have 2 of you use the passes)

...We're planning on 10 days. What do people buy when going longer than 7 days? And if you buy a 7 day pass,do you have to use it 7 consecutive days or any 7 days within your 10 day stay?

i believe 8 days is the break-even point for annual passes. dh and i were in the world for 2 1/2 weeks for our wedding/honeymoon and we got annual passes, which worked out GREAT!

(then of course, you can plan other trips to go back for the rest of the year, LOL) :p
