we're going for the first time this year(yes i know ,but we were sucked up by the "mouse" for a while)..we're free this year to explore so tell me what to see. we have toddlers, grandparents and 30 somethings...thanks.

you have to go and see Believe (Shamu), Blue Horizons (Dolphins), and Cydle and Seamore (Sealions)

and ride the rides Wild Artic (suitable for everyone), Kraken, and journey to altantis

The shows mentioned above are must-dos. My kids really enjoyed feeding the dolphins. Try to get to there for an early feeding time while the dolphins are still pretty hungry. It's $5 for a small container of fish and you can pet the dolphins, too. Dont' miss the underwater viewing area. We also fed sea lions, but you can't get close enough to pet them. They can be fed at anytime, unlike the dolphins, which have set times. There's a Shamu play area for younger kids with rides. The little roller coaster is lots of fun. Shamu walked around and posed for pictures. Take your kids swimsuits or extra clothes, so they can enjoy the wet play area. My 5 yr. old son's favorite attraction was the Sharks. We went through it 3x. Penguins were cute and also Beluga whales. It's all great. The grown-ups might appreciate the free beer in the Hospitality Center. It also houses a Deli with good sandwiches. We spent a day and a half and saw everything without feeling rushed. I think they are still doing the 2nd day free promotion. You'll enjoy SeaWorld. It seems more relaxed than Disney.

thank you for all the suggestions and the link to the thread..the night shamu show sounds pretty cool..anyone see that? my kids are too small to stay up for any of teh night shows at disney so this seems like an option.

My DD loved feeding the sea lions and dolphins the most, and going to see the clydesdales (she loves horses)

Also, the little show 'Pets Ahoy' which is all dogs, cats, birds, raccooons, ducks, etc etc... lots of fun, see that one for sure.

You are going to have a great day! Be sure to get to the Sea lion & otter show early so that you can enjoy the mime. He is so funny, it is nearly as good as the show! Just watch your back when you walk by him, he is usually up to a trick! ;)

I haven't seen the current shows but with previous versions Shamu Rocks was my favorite. There was always a special energy for that one.

Is that you in the photo, HungryBear? it's such a nice one :)

We were huge fans of Shamu Rocks America. We hadn't been to SW in two years and just went this week. We loved the new version of Shamu Rocks! We all wore our swimsuits and sat in the front row. We got soaked!

(We loved it!) Enjoy!

i was just at Seaworld last week, (i went there for camp) im 17yrs old, and i have to say my absolute favorite shows were shamu rocks, and the sea lions tonight show, the sea lions tonight show is absolutely histerical for all ages, but its better if you have already seen the other shows, the show makes fun of all the other shows.

believe is also a must see, if you havent seen it before, and i personally like blue horizons, its more theatrical and a little corny, but a very good show, especially for the little ones.

If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask me about it, i was just at seaworld yesterday, and i was there for the entire week at camp, so i got to do basically everything that seaworld has to offer.
