Never Again...

I too am not a Stitch fan. I think, from what I remember, I don't care for The Great Movie ride and Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Snooze fest! (I haven't been since 2007, so I'm not even sure if HISTK is even around.

Mine are the Backlot Tour and HISTK playground.

The line at Backlot Tour..unless you time it just right is just ridiculous. To me, it's not worth standing in the sea of humanity in corrals on an incline. If it were a self guided thing..more like the Walt thing. HISTK playground, ugh...we only went in hoping for some cute picture opportunities and it was so hot and so crowded (this was not a busy day at the park at all keep in mind) and the reams of screeching children...no thanks.

We went in 2005, did Stitch, and I said NEVER AGAIN. My DD5 (at that time) cried during the ENTIRE thing.

Going to WDW the first week of December. I did that for the first time last year, and it wasn't a whole lot of fun. The Christmas party was nice, but I felt like a human popsicle by the time it was done. I hated walking around the parks with my winter coat on too. It just didn't feel like Florida, and it didn't feel like Disney World to me. I've been to WDW in July when it is hot hot hot and I would rather do that again then go and freeze.

See, I prefer WDW during the first week of December because I love the cold and I love the fact that most of the parks are fairly empty. I prefer the cold to the blistering heat and it is always easier to layer on than to take clothing off, especially if you're as shy and self conscious as I am. Not to mention I think that the Christmas decorations make it all worth it. (=

Another never again for me is dining at the Coral Reef Restaurant. We used to go there every trip because I love aquatic animals and I love seafood. The last time we went the service was horrible and the food was even worse. The manager even came over and asked us why we tipped so low and tried to explain to us that that the state of the food has nothing to do with the waiters performance. Earlier that day my dad tipped 30% at Chefs de France... so the service at Coral Reef was horrendous. )=

Nemo Musical at AK!!!just terrible:confused:

to each his own I guess...The osbourne lights totally made my trip in November..it was so magical that I still get goosebumps thinking about it..but we went in mid November with very light crowds:thumbsup2

My "never again" places are :MVMVP, Disney Quest and Coral Reef.

We did not like the conservation station either. It was very boring! I have to say though the Lights, Action stunt show was one of my DS (7) absolute favorite parts of our trip. He can't wait to see it again.

Never again: Jungle Cruise and Stitch.

LOVE the Nemo musical and see it every year!:yay:

We also went the first week in Dec last year and not only was it cold, it was crowded. That's why we're back to Sept. this year.:thumbsup2

Took DS on stitch in 2008..he freaked out!! :scared1:I felt horrible!! I felt like I scarred him for life with that ride!!! Never again!!! Even though he's older now..I won't do it!!!

TA about Stitch, my dd insisted upon going on it when she was 5 or 6 and she had to be pulled out by a cm because she was so hysterical, so then her and my dh could leave the ride! We do however love Jungle Cruise at night! :goodvibes
As far as my never again I'd have to say nothing(other than Stitch and maybe the Liberty Belle boat ride) I guess because we've only been there a few times everything seems new to me still :cutie:

Stitch has got to go!!!!

The only point for us with the conservation station is to see what characters are out there!

Hoop De Doo was great for 1 time but I wouldnt go back (I know I am alone is this)

Carousel of Progress...way too long...it was good for a nap!

With all this being said, everyone is different and I think you should try everything once before writing it off

I keep seeing this everywhere. We are going during Dec with our 6 (he will be 7 at that time) year old. What is so bad about the ride? We have never been to WDW before and he loves Lilo and Stitch movies so I am a little curious!

My dd loves Lilo and Stitch too but the total pitch black darkness, noises and smells were way too much for her!

You get strapped into a seat (that doesnt ever move) in the pitch black and you get spit on by stitch. I just doesnt make any sense to me. If you 6 yo likes Lilo and Stitch, I recommend breakfast at Ohana's because Lilo and Stitch are there. Also find them in AK they are very funny with the kids. They played hide and seek with my kids in the trees.

I think it's great to see how other's experience Disney World! I have to agree about Stitch's Great Escape. the most FOUL experience of my life. NEVER again!!

We don't mind Conservation Station, I don't think it's anything spectacular and would cross it off the list entirely, but my step son is wild about animals and reptiles, so he really enjoys getting to see them up close. My step daughter could take it or leave it, but we all appreciate the train ride break!!

As for Carousel of Progress, LOVE IT. For some reason all four of us claim that ride as an absolute must. My sister HATES it. Says it is so boring and cheesy. I think for my family it reminds us of previous trips. My step daughter was absolutely convinced that not only was the dog REAL, he was staring at her. She'd wave to him in each scene. She's 12 now, but I still see her wave to Rover!! I think the other reason we love it is b/c it has a direct tie to Walt Disney himself! It was Walt's favorite ride and if I'm not mistaken, it's the oldest attraction at Disney World.

sorry, tangent.

anyhow...I love knowing how others see and experience Disney World.

The Stitch ride is and can be kinda scary. It's dark, and you are strapped in, Stitch lets out a fart smell, it's just kinda weird and it's not "cutesy" Stitch. I know Stitch is not supposed to be sweet, but it's just not a kiddie ride.

To each his own for the Stitch ride... In it, Stitch is is not Stitch, he's Experiment 626, and hasn't met Lilo or landed on Earth. They don't explain it very well at all, but I like that it's there. :goodvibes

Just like I'm sure there are plenty of people that are happy Primeval (Prim-evil to me) Whirl exists in the Animal Kingdom park. I have never ridden it or the Tea Cups in Magic Kingdom because I personally cannot handle anything that rotates like that. :confused3 :)

Our Family's 'Never Again' would be the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse - once was enough.

What I do like is the fact that one Disney fan's favorite attraction is last on the list of the next fan! It is probably the answer to 'Why does Disney keep that ride/attraction?' Remembering that everyone has different likes and dislikes and expectations from the parks.
