You know what? I DO have a complaint about Netflix. It's possible I'm doing something wrong, so maybe someone here can correct me. I find that it is hard to know what new releases are coming out when. Even when I go into "browse" and "new releases" I'm pretty sure the results show things that aren't necessarily brand new, kwim? I think I'm missing a lot of new movies. Does anyone else find this to be true?
This is one legitimate gripe, IMO. Here are 2 sites (not run by Netflix) that are a Godsend.
Everything that's available on instant watch:
http://instantwatcher.com/
streaming soon
http://www.streamingsoon.com/
Bookmark this one, because I don't know how the heck to find the link from the Netflix site.
All videos releasing for the current week:

Another good website is
http://www.hackingnetflix.com/ -- it's basically a blog of Netflix news & info. Every week, they list all the new release DVDs and all the new release streaming movies. They also talk about a lot of rumors and updates to Netflix, so I like to keep an eye on that site just to see what's new.
Anyway, back to the OP. My DFi and I do the 3 dvd plan. We have our account split into two separate queues - one for me, one for DFi. He gets 2 dvd's at a time and I get one. It's nice because he doesn't like most of the movies I want to see, and I like about half of his movie choices.

So with 3 dvd's, we usually wind up with 1 for me, 1 for him and 1 for both of us to watch. It works out pretty nicely.
Our turnaround time is awesome. We have a facility here in Cedar Rapids, so I'm sure that helps. If we mail something back Monday afternoon, we'll get new movies Wednesday morning.
I've had dvd's get lost before (I think 3 in the 6-ish years we've had Netflix) and they just mark it as received and sent out a new one. Easy peasy!
As far as the Roku box goes.. I've heard amazing things about it. We stream videos through our xbox 360, but I'm thinking about getting a Roku box to put in our bedroom. DFi likes to watch movies as he falls asleep, so it'd be nice to have access to Netflix movies in there.
Lately (within the past month) I've had an issue with getting new release movies, too, as a few other PP's have said. This seems like it's a recent problem, though - I can't remember ever having to wait more than a day or two to get a movie. But right now I've got a few movies (District 9, Paranormal Activity, Inglourious Basterds, The Hangover, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince...) that all have "very long wait", and I've had them on my queue since before they were even released on DVD.
