netflix - does it have closed caption?

My DDIL is hearing impaired and DS and her want to get netflix but of course she needs closed captioning. Can anyone confirm this is an available option?

Hubby said it is available on some of the streaming through the Wii, but wasn't sure if it was available through the X-box.

I watch thru my PC and some are and some aren't. Of course the foreign are, but with the English, it seems to be the luck of the draw. Sometimes I can quite hear all the words and if there is a subtitle option, I use it. But it seems most don't have it available. For example, I watched Midnight Cowboy the other night and it had a closed caption option, which I used. IMO, I think ALL of them should have this feature.

ETA: I just found a list I had never seen before. This list shows all the movies that are CC. So you can browse and see if she likes the movies available.

The Netflix link didn't work for me. But from my experience, maybe 10-15% of the movies/shows that we stream have the option. Also the devices you stream with won't make a difference.

DHis hearing impared and the one big,unfortunate thing with the streaming is that it only is CC sometimes, and very rarely at that. I am most disappointed by this and feel like it is a huge disadvantage. DH has a way to stream through his hearing aids, but that is not an option for everyone.
