Nervous my trip will suck...

We did a trip the end of Aug and it could have been bad. It rained a lot the beginning of our trip. Not just the afternoon showers, rain most of the day. When it wasn’t raining, it was so hot and humid. It should have been miserable. But it wasn’t because we were willing to go with the flow. And we had a plan. Rain gear on, clear shower curtain over the stroller and we moved on.

Disney will be what you make if it. If you know you will have a horrible time, you will. If you can find the positives of the situation, your trip will be magical. Our trip was magical and we went back at Thanksgiving. And those crowds were huge and we still had a great time. And are planning March and June trips.

I worry every time! Mostly because I'm usually planning for my entire family and I'm more worried about whether they are having a good time than I am about my own time. I've had disappointments and not so great things happen on trips, too (getting the flu five years ago and having to leave early, for example). Now I manage these feelings by thinking of my next next Disney trip. Once I've done everything I can to plan and prepare, what happens now is out of my control. So if I have a bumpy trip, it's okay! I'll make up for it when I come back! Maybe sooner than later if it's really bad...
