Neon orange toenails! What was I thinking?

Got a pedicure yesterday since we're leaving for our annual WDW pilgrimage later this week.

I chose a neon orange color so bright, you gotta wear shades to appreciate it.

What was I thinking? My toes look crazy in sunlight--although not so bad in the evening.

I never wear polish on my fingernails (can't stand the way it looks) but I funky and fun nail polish on my toes.

Don't worry about it...all the women will think it's a fun color and the men won't even notice.

EDIT: just had to tell you that you'll fit right in with us Floridians-- most of my friends and women I see have some form of bright colored polish on!

I always pick up a bright color to try but always go back to Comet loves cupid or something along that line. You know, your basic red!! My pedicure gal is always trying to get me away from the reds, but its a habit.

I envy you your orange toes and wish I could change!

I'm another person that does not do fingernail polish, but I like the funky colors on my toes. I did an orangey color when I was on vacation once and I can't tell you how many people commented on my toes. They either really liked the color or they felt sorry for me

Ha ha! But I don't think we'll have much snow in Florida this week though.

Now that I'm a little used to it, it looks better to me. I felt so 1991 when I first saw my toes. I think it'll look even better when I finally get a tan. I've been stuck working so much indoors this summer, I'm not the olive-brown shade I usually am this time of year. By this time next week, I should be toasted!

JJ, I was there 3 days last week and got toasted but my feet got tan! I've already peeled--& I wore sunscreen because I was so darned white.

sounds like fun, though! I always get something neutral or more pink tones. People will notice--I saw more ****s and more fun polish while standing in line than anything. I also saw the ugliest toes I think the good Lord made *shivers*--I'm betting the pedicure person retired after those! lol
