Nemo Ride

Anyone ridden or heard/read/seen a review of the new Nemo ride at Epcot?

Very cute. I think it will be a winner -- esp those with little ones, or who enjoy tame rides themselves.
There is a LONG que line with not anything going on that I recall. But I walked through it rather quick. That area is lighted and made to look like guests are underwater.
The clamobiles are pink half shells that seat three, if one is a child. But two comfortable.
The ride is a synopsis of the Nemo movie.
The end I thought was the best part as there are multiple windows that look into the aquarium, but the Nemo characters are very prominent and clear.
Worth a ride. And I think it will interest kids in conservation, nature and wildlife.

By chance we also ate dinner at Coral Reef tonight. The que going into Living Seas was very long outside. But I think there were numerous and large gaps of people (not) standing in line, and looking at the new scenery. Hard to say what it was inside, or if the ride was even operating today. We did not go inside the building. We just passed by while walking to Coral Reef.

I have to admit that I wasn't all that impressed with it the first time I rode it. Must have been that hour wait...
I rode it again yesterday and it was a little more palpable. While some of the effects are pretty impressive, the rest reminded me of Journey to Atlantis over at Sea World. It's also pretty annoying when the ride slows down or stops and you're stuck listening to the same SHORT sudio track over and over...and over again. Peach, the starfish is the best feature of the ride. If I had to compare it to something, I'd put it up there with It's A Small World: You've seen it once, don't have to do it again.
I also had to laugh: after exiting the ride, our party stopped to watch the scuba presentation outside of Turtle Talk...the hostess REPEATEDLY referred to the pavillion and the Living Seas. Maybe she didn't get the memo...

I'll admit that the Nemo ride is OK. I personally would like to see some additional effects in the ride. Such as in the Australian current section, maybe a wind and/or a mist effect, i think would add alitttle something. I know that it isnt supposed to be a 100 million dollar attraction, but am I the only one that felt a bit separated from the ride? I mean that it didnt seem to draw me in and feel as if it was a show just for me. The screens you pass with Marlin ansd Dory, just seemed to be something going on in the background, and not for my enjoyment. Maybe its me. I'll ride it again, but not wait any more that 10-15 minutes for it. As with most new Disney/ Pixar themed attractions ( and more on the way) this one wont have the staying power as Haunted Mansion or Small World.

Did anyone elso notice that inside the ride, it was a bit warm? Maybe the A/C wasnt working when we rode it.

We were there yesterday, and the sign said a 25 minute wait. It took us about 20 minutes to walk through the redone areas that were formerly the s-curve pathway to what was formerly the pre-show area then the former theatre area, then the former Hydrolater area,which all now encompassed the new "stand-on-line' area,and the loading area for the ex-seacabs, which are now, of course, the Clam-Mobiles for a really cute ride through about twice the area that the old ride went through. They did a fairly decent job on the Clams, but as the rest of the interior goes, nothing too exciting, other then the turle talk show, or whatever they call it, but the line was too long for that, so we did not bother. Otherwise, the aquarium portion of the pavilion was not really changed. I would advise taking the Clams, getting off, going to the turtle talk show, if the line is not to long, then leaving the area before you get bored silly, IMHO........

Nemo is a cute ride, and I think most kids will love it. (Even the not so daring adults)
I agree, it could have been better. I would have liked to see it in 3D. But then some would be upset it made them sick.
IF they could offer something like Nightmare Before Christmas is suppose to be like, where it does not look so 3D-ish without the glasses too bad that was not done. And a little spray of water would be cool too, esp in the Crush water tunnel.
Agree, if I waited an hour to see it, I would be saying is that all there is to it? But I might say that about other rides too if I waited an hour.
I was surprised to see barely anything in the long que area.
Onc ethe Nemo ride has been around awhile I would not expect a long wait. I think many will say "Been There Done That" after a few times. But kids will probably want to ride it repeatedly.

I wasn't overly impressed. It was cute, but it has such potential to be so much better. I didn't like that the clamobiles faced the same direction the whole time. But it is good to have a new child friendly ride in epcot.

Reminds me of the wonderfull, long gone Horizons ride vehicles

I rode it last week and thought it was good. My daughter really liked it.

rode it twice last week and the week before. the second time just to get to the gift shop to buy a specific item. did not like it either time. it seemed thrown together to us, plotwise, not structure.

We rode it last week and a thumbs up from my whole family! Not too exciting, but very cute and certainly worth doing if you like the Seas. I also saw Turtle Talk for the first time and really liked that show. We cracked up over it and talked about it for several hours. I bet some shows are better than others due to the improv. nature of the thing, but ours was really good! The Seas itself has quite a bit of re-theming inside, but several areas seemed to be closed, including one very nice exibit that I remembered about the coral reef and themed with Nemo kinds of fish. It almost looks like they are adding another TT theater or maybe putting the Q in there. Yes? The entire pavillion was packed on a fairly low attendance day at Epcot. It really looks like they have given new life to a very tired pavillion. Nice job Disney.

That is nice to hear. We wated some time the last trip. I am sure that the wait is longer now that the nemo ride is up and running.

Does Nemo have Fastpass?

No fastpass, but it's not really needed. If the entire queue is filled all the way to the outside door, the wait is about 20 minutes. The ride is open after 7pm, and at night it's a walk-on.

That's upsetting, because that was one of the only things left that managed to tie Nemo to the original Living Seas. They need to be putting more fish back into the pavillion, not taking them out. The last time we dove it was pathetic...I was glad that they started the ride again, but I can't believe they've ripped so much out to do it.
