So, are the Nemo lines dying down yet? (Do we need to run around the Matterhorn still?) If the wait is over 1/2 hr my DH and I might just get in line right before closing. (No tired and cranky kids with us :thumbsup2 ) How close to closing do we need to get in line?

PS: I can't believe my trip is finally here! I suddenly wonder if I've done enough planning. :rotfl:

PPS: We're going Sept 1-8. Disneyland Wednesday and Friday

Yeah, you still need to go around the matterhorn. Those folks that tried to go through Tomorrowland at opening 2 weeks ago lost a lot of spots in line.

go during the fireworks it was an 80 minute wait aug 8 2007

Plus it is not hot and you can see the fireworks not great but you can watch while you wait.

We were there on Thrusday and Friday of last week (8-23 & 8-24), each time we went by the line it was a posted 60 minute wait.. We finally bit the bullet so to speak and got in line and yes it was exactly 60 minutes. I had doubts about the posted time thinking it was going to be more of a wait but it was accurate...

Where exactly in TL does the Nemo Queue start?

I was looking at the map on DL's website and it doesn't show the nemo ride at all. I can see the lagoon of course next to Autopia, but I'm just not sure where the entrance is.

We're going to be trying to walk briskly, but I don't want to walk briskly in the wrong direction.
You mean walk past the main entrance to TL and enter the path between the castle and the Astro orbiter and then stay to the right of the Matterhorn?

Okay guys, what's your strategy for getting in line for it? Do you use EE or not? I've heard both ways. Thanks!

It starts back in the old smoking section next to Matterhorn, so do NOT go through Tomorrowland to get to the ride. Take the parade route path past the Matterhorn to avoid having to walk all the way past the line to enter the line.

While I've heard both, I have only experienced one. We used our EE on Fantasyland only. Our group actually split up and we rode all of Fantasyland and BTMRR twice (after rope drop) before the rest of our party got off Nemo. I really believe that there is no one answer. It really depends on how much before park opening (whether it be EE or not) you show up to the gates. I say, if you are standing past the monorail, go for it, just make sure you walk bery fast and don't mind people weaving.

My sister was there yesterday and said the line was 60min. although she said it only took 45min. I'm not sure what time they went on it but I know it wasn't first thing in the morning because they didn't even get there until 11am(and the park opened at 9am). So seems like the lines may be dying down a bit.

We had to go around the left (FL) side of the Matterhorn. Actually, at EE opening the CM directed us that way (keeping us from going around the right side of the Matterhorn). The start of the queue was opposite the entrance to the Matterhorn. This is a very long, presumably temporary queue set up while the lines are so long. People that tried to cut through Tomorrowland got turned back. Now this was for EE in mid August.

Hard to say whether it is best to go for EE or not. We had 2 EEs, so we used one for Nemo and one for Fantasyland. Most people were going for Nemo, so Fantasyland didn't get as backed up as it normally does for EE. It depends a bit on which day you want to give up the first part of your morning for. If I had a 4 day PH with only one EE, I'd probably use my EE for FL, but that's just me. Hopefully, with each passing day as school season is starting, it is getting less crowded.

I read somewhere that yesterday the Nemo line was around 70 mins mid-afternoon and someone else said they hopped in line just after Remember... and they were on the Subs in 45 mins.
But that was close to 10pm...

....and it's 96 in Anaheim right now.
I bet the Nemo line at any length just isn't a magical wait.

We're into off season now so be aware that as the newness starts to wear off, they may change the starting location of the line.

But as for now it's up in back of the Matterhorn. Don't go through TL. Don't try around the TL side of the Matterhorn. Follow the parade route up and around it and the entrance is there.

As we're more into off season, it's more likely that you'll want to do it on a day where there is no early entry. It is still more efficient if you can pull it off do do Fantasyland for EE. And the insane mad rush in June isn't there any more. It still fills up quickly so make sure you're toward the front of the line at the gate.

30 minute wait tonight at 9:37. We were on the subs by 10:07

My 1st time on them.
Not bad but wouldn't wait anymore than 20 minutes next time.
