Nemo in the Parks??/

We're leaving in exactly 14 days! I heard Nemo and friends are around. Has anyone seen them recently? Where? When? My boys would be thrilled to see them. Thanks!

We just got back today, and I didn't see one Nemo! I was a little disappointed, and I did have my eye out for him. But unless I missed him, he wasn't there when we were.

We saw him in the Living Seas! I'm kidding. There was a little girl at the clown fish aquarium yelling "Mommy! Nemo! Mommy, Nemo's in here!" Too cute!

We were there last week and didn't see him. We saw Stitch and Lilo on the Steam boat in Fantasmic. There were a lot of cahracters around the Socerer's Hat in MGM, but we didn't go see who was there. I think you can call Guest Services and ask where to find characters.

When we were there in July we saw Nemo at the boat dock at the Transportation and Ticket Center in the morning. We were exiting the Monorail to transfer to Epcot. There didn't seem to be too many people around him. I was a little disappointed in him, from what I could see. He almost looked like one of the fish floats from SpectroMagic, minus the lights. He was also on the small side. Even though I am character obsessed (to my fiance's chagrin), we didn't bother to try for a picture. I don't know if he was making appearances for the summer only or if this will be a year-round thing.

I haven't heard if Nemo is still around. I didn't see him when I was at WDW last month. He was also doing a pre-parade at MK before "Share A Dream Come True", but now it's an Sleeping Beauty themed pre-parade to promote the DVD.

was during the Share a Dream Come True parade in July. He's apparently on wheels from what we could see.

My family and I just got back from Disney World on August 19th. We were there from Aug 12 - 19 and were told that they had stopped showing the Nemo characters the week before we got there (this includes the parade and meet and greet) and they did not know when they would come back. Their was some mention that when they come back, they would be at MGM Studios. What a bummer for my son who is a HUGE Nemo fan. Hopefully the characters will be back by the time you get there?? MIWings

Thanks for letting me know! I will ask guest services when we get there! My kids are big Nemo fans, too!!

Don't hold your breath, but he may be appearing at The Living Seas in Epcot eventually.
For the time being, and for an indefinite period of time, however, Nemo is spending time with Marlin and Dorry at the Great Barrier Reef and will not be available.

There is a multitude of character greeting opportunities all over WDW, however, so pick up a times guide, check in at Guest Relations, and fill those autograph books.

Thanks, Steve. I was amazed last year at how many more characters there are in the parks now. We love it! And being September the characters can take their time with the kids. Peter Pan and Wendy had a really nice little talk with my boys last year. We'd just gotten off Pirates but we hadn't been on the Peter Pan ride yet and Peter was not happy about that! Then later on in the day we saw Peter again, he remembered my boys and asked if they'd gone on his ride yet! I love those little moments.

My kids are BIG pin collectors, too. They are allowed one pin a day from each park so they scour each pin station to find the one they really want. In fact, the tooth fairy even brings Disney pins to our house! LOL!

10 more days til our trip! I can't wait!!!
