Negitive Test---I wanted it to be Positive

I am right there with you. My DS was conceived the 2nd month we tried. DD took 2 1/2 years and 2 miscarriages. Its very frustrating. I used the inexpensive ovulation kits. Try and relax. Actually, DH and I gave ourselves a deadline to stop trying because it gets to consume your whole mind, at least for me it did. It was very hard emotionally. Our deadline was Dec. We planned a trip to Negril Jamaica about the time I would be ovulating. I didn't get pregnant. We both agreed, we are blessed to have 1 healthy child. Well, lo and behold, I get pregnant in Jan. Go figure. This is a pic of Haylee. 7 1/2 months old now. Relax! I speak from experience. LOL

I am so sorry you are going through this. I do not wish this on any woman.

We tried for 2 years to have my son. Finally with the help for fertility drugs, a miscarriage & a lot of doctor's appiontments we got pregnant with him.

He will be 5 years old in August & we haven't had any luck with number 2 yet :(
I haven't gone back on fertility drugs though, but it doesn't seem like I can get pregnant on my own :(
We are not doing anything, like charting, etc, just letting whatever happens, happen....but nothing so far.
Right now I am OK with that actually.

I know what a miracle my DS is so I keep that in my mind all the time.
I am coming to terms that DS will probably be our only child (unless we adopt down the road)

Anyway, you are not alone and I am very sorry you are going through this. I wish you a healthy pregnancy very soon!!!!

Nothing new to report....I am going to the bookstore on my lunch hour to find that book.

Also-my husband had a dream last night we had twin girls. It was nice to hear that this is weighing heavy on his mind too.

I also know we are so lucky to have our DS. He was a miracle baby and I could be worse off then not being able to have another baby.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts and hugs!

(PS-I really love the name Madelyne) Stepharoonie's daughter is Madelyne I think; Maddy for short and she is one the cutest kids I have seen!!)

If you aren't sure when you ovulate and think it may just be a timing thing, then I would definately get an ovulation predicter kit. When you ask do they work, I think the answer is yes and maybe. Do they accurately tell you when you are ovulating? Yes. Will they actually help you conceive? Maybe. If it is simply a problem with timing, then the OPK will tell you when the best time is and that will increase your chances. If the problem is something else, they won't change anything for you.

We have been trying for about 4 years with no luck. (We have 2 ds we adopted at 2.5 & 7, but we still desperately want a baby.) I tried both the inexpensive monthly OPK like Clear Plan and the expensive fertility monitor and they were both equally reliable in telling me when I would ovulate. In fact, my fertility doctor had me use them to time when we would do a procedure. However, they never did us any good. I quit spending money on them a long time ago because I can always tell when I am around ovulation and ovulating. You could always try it for a month or two just to see if you are hitting it right.

spend money on the book ,before you spend money on the ovalation kit!!Annnnnnnnd keep keep keep trying!!!
