Negatives of Halloween cruise?

We actually have a pumpkin tree in our yard now - loved the one on the ship so replicated it. Our last two cruise have been Merry Christmas Time but my cruise to Bermuda next year will be Halloween again.

It's a personal preference thing. I don't care for Halloween or fall colors/decor. Yellows. Oranges. They're big turn-off colors to me. I sail in September every year with friends. I go because it's with friends. I don't like the tree, decor, etc. I find it all a detraction from the beautiful spaces but I know that's just a personal preference. The events and all the hoopla are in no way of interest to me. I'd say the only thing I like about it all is the Spooky Juice drink of the day. It's pretty tasty & cheap.

So the window decals are on all the porthole windows? Thats a bummer. We are cruising this Sept and I really didn't want a halloween cruise but of course went with it because of the price. I had gotten the impression from other posts that the decor wasn't that in your face but this post has me thinking it is more than I thought it would be. I wish their halloween cruises didn't start until Oct. Sept 2nd seems too early for me to get into Halloween. I am still in summer mode.
