Needed: mixed drinks

Mounds martinis are good: chocolate liquer and coconut rum

.
Tequila Sunrise - Another fruity drink, but I forgot what's in it.

Tequila, OJ, and grandadine.

I like Grey Goose & cranberry. It's not two sweet, but not too "liquor-y".

I had a "Rasberry Rapids" last week at the WL, and boy, was it yummy! I have no idea what was in it other than Rasberry vodka, but it was sooo good.

I see a lot of the women drinking these up this way...

Pearl Harbor
1 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. midori
fill with pineapple juice

I love really fruity drinks... mojitos are my favorite all time though (I drool just smelling them)

My favorite fruity though is
2 parts orange juice
2 parts pineapple juice
1 part rum
mix
pour over ice with a splash of grenadine

Amaretto sour, whiskey sour...you can make them as strong or as sissified as you want. :)

I once spent a night drinking these 1/2 Pucker, 1/2 vodka drinks. Oh, YUM! Like a jolly rancher, I swear. Spent the wee hours of the morning over the toilet, though.

I stick with whiskey sours now. :)

I like pink lemonades and alabama Slammas. If both are made right there is very little liquor taste but you get a buzz after about two!!!! Then there is the long Island ice tea. One big glass of that is all you need to feel N I C E!!!

I had a friend who drank Italian Surfers. Essentially a Malibu Bay Breeze with Amaeretto. I found them discustingly sweet and fruity - but if that's what you like, they are apparently yummy.

I haven't had a Long Island in a long time. When I was in my early 20's, some friends and I used to frequent a bar in Eugene, Oregon that made the best Long Islands. Served in a pint glass, about 80% liquor, and they only cost $3. Maybe it's the combination of ingredients, but they never tasted as strong as they were. Since then, every time I've tried to order one, it's been served in a tiny glass, has too much sour mix and cola, and costs at least 6 bucks.
The Long Islands I enjoyed were:
1 oz Rum
1 oz Gin
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Tequila
1 oz sour mix
splash of cola
all poured over ice

Yeah, they're a wee bit strong.

Malibu rum and diet coke is what I drink. I have friends who drink it with either regular coke or pineapple juice.

I had a bad experience in college with rum and cokes....don't drink them anymore.

I like the sound of Italian surfers and the Mounds martini sounds absolutely delicious. :worship:

Thanks for the great ideas everyone. I was afraid someone would take offense to a post like this. I was worried I sound like a lush! I paid forty one dollars for this party though and want to make sure I have some good bar drinks for my money. :cool1:

I love Long Island Teas!!
My current favorite drink is one I had on the Magic last December. It is a variation on the Long Island Tea - except the LIT's I get have triplesec in them along with all the other stuff listed above.

It is called a Tropical Depression :thumbsup2 and is half blue and half red which you mix together to make a pretty purple color. It is the same thing as a LIT except for these substitutions:
Grenadine instead of sour mix
Blue Curacao instead of triplesec
splash of Sprite instead of Coke.

OMG I had the same experience! Took me 2 years to be able to drink vodka again. :scared:
