I have been trying to read throught the boards to determine which would be the best place for me and the family to eat during our September vacation. Kids are 10, 9 and 5. So I guess I would like to know which are the top places to eat for kids.

Thanks for any advice.

While almost all Disney restaurants are kid friendly, these stand out to me as lots of fun for kids... :goodvibes

Whispering Canyon (WL)
Chef Mickey's (CM)
O'Hana (Poly)
Crystal Palace (MK)

Everyone loved (in no particular order)

Le Cellier (GREAT food)
O'hana (GREAT food, lots of fun)
Boma (unique food, but plenty of regular, too; AKL is my FAV)
Kona (very good food)
Le Chefs (I was surprised here, but DS12 LOVED the mac & cheese)
Planet Hollywood (I think the kids liked the restaurant most)

The last 2 are VERY noisy, my only complaint.

Thing is, the kids meals are nearly the same at restaurants; not a lot of variation. Obviously we did not eat any character meals; kids didn't care to, so we picked menus that appealed to us, and restaurants that got overall good reviews here.

Top 5 For Our Family:
Chef Mickey for breakfast
Whispering Canyon for any meal
Sci-Fi for lunch or dinner
Tusker House for breakfast
Cape May for breakfast

Other Family Favs:
Rain Forest Cafe for lunch
Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner
Hoope Dee Doo

In no particular order…

Whispering Canyon
Sci-Fi (meal not so good)
Chef Mickey’s
Cinderella’s Royal Table

We are going this summer and I let my kids each pick a place...
15yo chose Liberty Tree Tavern
14yo chose Kona Cafe
8yo chose Chef Mickey
2yo chose "Rella" ...we decided 1900 Park Faire fit that request
They all also enjoyed Sci Fi last time we were there.

That's 5! :) Sheli
