There are 8 of us
We have the Dining Plan
Want to use a Counter Service in MK prior to MNSSHP for dinner
WHERE would you suggest ??? Be honest and let us know what you has the best food
OR the best CS at a MK RESORT we could take the monorail to and come back for the evening Halloween Party ( That Would Be Really Nice )

THANKS SO VERY MUCH

I love Columbia Harbour House. They have chicken and fish but they also have salad, sandwiches, and soup. The atmosphere there is nice, and if you sit upstairs it isn't as loud as many CS places.

Tortuga Tavern has a lot of volume for the price. The open toppings bar allows you to make a lot out of an entree.

Pinnochio Village Haus also has a decent pizza-style selection and if you sit upstairs and outside you get some cool views of Fantasyland.

Otherwise, you're looking at your standard burger and fries offerings. Pecos Bill has a toppings bar, so does Cosmic Rays. Cosmic Rays also has the animatronic alien lounge singer, lol.

Love getting responses.
Getting feedback from experienced DISers is so helpful

We enjoyed Cosmic Ray's on our last trip. DH had a burger and enjoyed the topping bar. I shared the Chicken & Ribs with the kids (DD was 2 and DS was 4), and there was plenty to eat.

Columbia Harbour House was really good as well. I had the shrimp basket, DS had one of the kid's meals, and DH had the fish - and a bowl of chowder. DD had a little of everything.

Those are our favorite 2 CS meals in MK. We are debating on where to eat before MNSSHP as well in October. We will have to see what sounds good that afternoon.

Before MNSSHP and MVMCP we have been to Columbia Harbor House, usually about 5pm, then we start hitting the rides, as the day guests leave and party goers come in. Last year we went to the Poly, my hubby loves sushi, so we got him some sushi from the Kona Island Sushi Bar, and my DD and I hit Capt Cooks (Poly CS) and we had an excellant meal. I had the Aloha Pork Sandwich and that was fantastic. Then we hopped on the monorail and got to the park about 5:30. We have also done table service ressies before the parties, we just make sure that we schedule for about 4:30 then we know we will be out and able to hit some rides before the fantastic shows and parades !!

If it were me, I'd hit the CS at the Poly. Its a good place to eat, should be less busy than any qs inside a park, plus you get to check out the resort.

We like going to Columbia Habour House. We usually get shrimp basket but they just updated their menu. easywdw.com has updated menu and prices. I like to try their new Lobster Roll.
