Need Vacation Help!

I'm planning a week vacation to Canada. We're driving from NY stopping at Montreal, then Quebec, then Toronto, and ending at Niagara Falls before we head back home to NY. Since I have only been to Niagara when I was a kid, I'm really clueless about what to do and where to stay in those areas!

Any ideas/suggestions would be great!!! Thanks in advance

We were in Montreal a few years ago and stayed at the Hotel du Vieux Port (by the Old port). It was a really nice area to stay in. They have a big kids explorium type of museu accross the way and some nice restaurants in the area. We ate a lot at Steak Frites.

We were in Toronto for a wedding and we stayed at the Old Mill Inn. It was nice, but I wouldn't necessarily call it close to a lot of the touristy attractions.

Parc Safari is a fun place to stop on your way to Montreal.
