I can't decide between 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's for dinner, any thoughts on which would be better. We don't have kids so the characters are nice but not a huge deal just looking for good food and fun.
Of the ones you have listed we've tried:
Rose & Crown - we liked it very much, had a friendly server & enjoyed the food & the view.
LeCellier - very good, long wait to get in, but the food was delicious - especially the cheese soup with pretzel bread - yum.
50's Prime Time - we loved it! Had so much fun - the servers were hilarious. I enjoyed my meatloaf, dh loved his pot roast and the s'mores were one of the most memorable desserts of our trip.
Crystal Palace - beautiful atmosphere, but very noisy and busy. We had a long wait to get in, and it was hard to get up to the buffet. Food was typical buffet - we liked the character shaped waffles with strawberries, and the breakfast lasagna was quite yummy. Fun to meet Pooh & friends who are favorites of ours.
Chef Mickeys - bright, colorful, tons of fun, and pretty good for buffet food. But if you're not in it for the characters, I'm not sure I'd recommend it - the characters are the main thing, and they came around pretty much continuously while we were there. We went our first night and it was a great intro to Mickey & friends for our 2yo and I'd take kids again in a minute, but wouldn't likely go if it was just dh and I.
For resorts, you don't have our hands down favorite listed - Ohana. Whenever we talk about where we'd like to go again, that one comes up. DH and the boys all loved the skewers, I loved the salad and the dessert, our littlest one loved the hula hoops, etc. and we all loved watching Wishes while eating our dessert - just magical! In fact, dh and I are going again for our anniversary.
I'd go to any of those again, but I'm pretty easy to please, especially on vacation when I'm all laid back lol. I think you'll hear lots of different experiences for each place though. Enjoy munching with the mouse!
