Need to know hot to get somewhere....

I have looked but could not find the answer to my question so here goes. I need to know what is the best way to get to the T Rex rest. in Down Town Disney from Disney's Hollywood Studios. We are planing on going back to Disney's Hollywood Studios after we eat. Thank you!

You must take transportation to one of Disney's resorts and then take the Downtown Disney bus from there. Same on the way back - change at a resort.

Leaving a park to eat at DTD and return to a park is unfortunately one of the worst transportation situations.

There is no direct transportation or else they would have to charge for parking at DTD. People would park there and go to the parks to avoid the parking charge.

Pick the next bus that is on the way to DTD ... unfortunately all those are multi stop resorts (Caribbean Beach, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs...) then hope there is not a long wait for the next DTD bus.

Thanks for the information! I had no idea that we would have to go back to the hotel first. But that does make since about parking. I also didn't mean to make a new thread...sorry about that. Thanks again for you help!

I already answered the transportation question. But, if I were you, I would be very tempted to change that ADR at T-Rex. It might make more sense to make it for the end of the day...rather than smack dab in the middle of the day.
You are going to have to get to another resort, from DHS (probably BW), take their bus to DTD. This could, feasibly, take an hour or so. Then, reverse it to get back to DHS. So now you'e taken probably over 2 hrs to get back and forth for lunch. That's a sizable chunk of time out of a park day.

Take bus to saratoga springs get off at congress park and use the walking path to downtown disney. It is a 10 minute walk
