Need to drop one day from ressie

If I need to drop 1 day from the beginning of a ressie, does that mean I need to re-book and if so, does the waitlist get first shot at booking it?

In the past, a change in a reservation like adding or dropping a day (keeping the same resort and room type) would not result in a new reservation. Just as MS will gladly allow us to add days to an existing reservation when calling day-by-day, I think they will allow you to drop a day without problem.

I'd call and see what they say- but am pretty confident you won't have any problem.
