need to change from Deluxe CL to Mod. Should I anticipate any issues?

Back in February I booked ten nights Poly CL for our family (me, DD, DH, DMIL, DFIL). I had the Club level IPO set up alot of my ADRS including a carriage ride for my inlaws, dessert and wishes party.

Well my DFIL, was diagnosed with a heart condition and wont be stable enough to fly in just over a month. We wanted to cancel but my wonderful in-laws insist that DD, DH and I go. My mother in law paid for the entire trip and we insisted on paying her back. She refuses to take the money back. So DH and crunched the numbers and have decided to spend our 10 nights at a moderate and pay meals out of pocket. The refunded difference will let us book a shorter stay at Disney with my inlaws when DFIL is stable.

So my question is, once I change my reservation to a non club level resort, will my IPO made reservations be cancelled? I understand I can no longer call on their services but I would hate to have to try and rebook ADRS this late in the game. Has anyone ever had experience with this?

I believe that once your adr's are made, they are yours and no one's cancels them unless you do. I am sure someone will reassure you, but I am sure this is how it works. Sorry to hear about your FIL. I had seen another post of yours and I think the way you changed your vacation and plan on another with your in-laws is great. Enjoy!
