Need to cancel a day off of my Free Dining Package

I have a free dining package booked through the Visa code for 8/18 - 8/24.

My DVC waitlist came in for the BLT for (8/23) - 8/28, so I now have an extra day at Pop.

Since the package is paid in full, but it is less than 45 days, will I get a refund for the last day if I cancel it?

I can't to anything with the BLT reservation, because that was aready booked with holding account points, so I have to keep it.

I guess the worst case scenario would be that I have 2 rooms and one more day of free dining. And to make matters worse, I have a ressie at LeCellier for that day, that I would lose too, since it has been next to impossible to change it.

I don't know if you have called yet, but I think that they will charge you a change fee if you try to cancel your last day since you are within the 45 day window. That fee is probably more than the cost of the room for the night. I don't think that canceling your POP reservation will effect your Le Cellier reservation, but if you can cancel the last night I would have the agent make a note in the Le Cellier reservation that your new resort will be BLT.

ETA: If you have plans for Le Cellier that night anyway you may actually spend less by keeping the extra day and using the DDP there instead of paying OOP for the meal :).

First off, you dont need to loose your reservation no matter what. worst case, you pay for your meal at Le Cellier.

For the reservations, I think your too late to change them, but as always with Disney, it never hurts to ask.

WOW aparently I need to write faster.

Thats what I get for doing this at work.
