Need TGM help please!

Hi! For those of you using TGM, is anyone having trouble accessing the community forums? Whenever I try to it boots me back out to the log in screen. I even changed my username to a more complicated one that I am certain no one would have but it is still happening. I emailed TGM a few days ago but have not heard back. Any ideas?

Has your membership expired? I can't remember the details, but I recall a membership expires so many days after your trip. Which is a bummer - I'll miss the site after my trip!

Other than expiration, were you possibly banned (if there even is such a thing)?? Highly doubtful because there's just so little drama/flaming on that board, but I can't think of any other reason you can't access the site. I've been there many times already today...

Hi! No... this is a brand new thing for me... just joined a few days ago. Have never yet been onto the forums. I am just trying to figure out how to navigate the site. Hopefully TGM will email back soon. I will try to contact him again in a few days. I just wondered if there was a general problem or if it was something specific to me. Ah, I *think* I remember something about activating your ID in the forums section when you first get started. I think you have to join your Vacation Month Club (I'm Sept 06, for example). Once you do that, and click into that Vacation Month forum to get started, I think you become fully enabled to go into all the other planning forums.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong... I vaguely recall having this happen to me, just not sure if it was TGM's site or some other board I'm on!

As soon as you have access to the AVP, you should have access to the forums. It's not mandatory to join a vacation club, but it is highly recommended.

Thanks Ken. My username is Janice070311. I went into my security browser an added the TGM sites just to be certain that it wasn't being rejected for that reason but no difference.

Hi Ken,
I just used Janice as my username the first time. When it wouldn't let me log in to the forums I thought it was perhaps because Janice was too common so changed it to the one I gave you. Thanks for your help!

Janice has been used several times. That's why you were getting booted. I just can't seem to figure out why you're not in the forum database though.... I'll see if I can get TourGuideMiKE to fix it tonight.
