We have had a reservation to camp from 7/2-7/16 at the fort for months now. Due to random circumstances, the 3rd was cancelled. There are NO openings now. Being as it is already the 1st should we cancel the 2nd and just check in on the 4th? I'd rather not because I want as many days in the fort as we can and we've planned on being in the parade and won't be able to now

Should we go on the 2nd set up camp and then leave the next day just to come back the next??

Just frustrated!!:headache:

If it were me, I'd KEEP calling the Fort and keep try'n to fill in that day,,right up to the moment you have before canceling (so you don't loose money),ya never know, sometimes magic happens, :thumbsup2

(yes, I would be a pest, but sometimes thats what you havta do)

Is there a way to call the fort or just the general reservation port?

this is a old Ft Wilderness # I've had for a while. 407-934-7639. I also have 407-824-2900,,(if they havn't changed them,,try both #'s)
If they are busy when you call, they will just transfer you to Reservations, but I would ask to speak to a super or some one in managment and explain the problem. Good luck,:thumbsup2

Fort desk can't do anything all Reservations have to go throw cental Reservation
