My boys will be switching schools in a couple of weeks. We aren't moving. DH & I just feel that our boys have reached the point where they would benefit more from the services available to them at our the public school. Anyway, I am trying to think of something special they can take for their classmates on their last day at their current school. (Between the two of them there are 60 kids in their classes - so the cost has to be small.)

Could you get pencils printed with something catchy on them? Some of the catalogs do that for not too much money. We got them for a band teacher with a saying on them that he liked.

Actually the pencil thing is something I'm think about - except I'm not sure what to print on them. We haven't told the boys yet because it will be about a week before we actually get everything together. (They are in 2nd & 3rd grade.)

Something like "We will remember you, then their name"

They might be able to come up with something. I will keep thinking--it's not my money. LOL

Check the website for Oriental Trade. They have lots of stuff pretty cheap. It was a favorite of mine when I was teaching

Thanks Breezy-Carol & Jamsmom! I ordered personalized smiley face pencils from Oriental Trading. I had them personalized with "Smile! - Your Friend, DS1/DS2" Separate sets with each boys names. I might send a little treat too. Now I just have to figure out how to break it to them & their current school. (I suppose that's a seperate post.)
