Need something special for 10 yo ds while at WDW

We are going to WDW in June and have plans to take 9 yo dd to BBB to get a makeover. I need something extra like that for my 10 yo ds to do as well but I am not sure what there is. I think he is too old for the Cool Dude at BBB and we are already planning on going to DisneyQuest as a family so that won't work. I am hoping you guys can give me an idea!!!

I am planning our first trip for December, and DS who will be 9 at that time is very excited about the Build your Own Lightsaber at Downtown Disney. I think it's at the Once Upon a Toy store there. There is also a giant Lego store at DTD where you can buy as many Lego pieces as you can stuff in a container for like $13.

At DHS (MGM) there is a Jedi training Academy- but this is an interactive event where kids are chosen from the audience. If DS isn't chosen we are in for a LONG day...............

That's what I can think of for now.......DS is very into Legos and Star Wars (and Lego Star Wars ) ...hopefully others can add more ideas.

As the mom of a DS10, I agree with the previous poster about the Lego store in DTD. DS loves that place!!

If your son can swim, how about EPCOT Seas Aqua Tour. He is old enough to go if he is accompanied by an adult. You do not have to be a certified SCUBA diver for this one.

If swimming is not his thing, you could all go on the Family Magic Tour. He is also old enough to try the Disney's Magic Behind the Steam Trains tour.

I am sure he would flip to do any of these special events. I bet you already know which one he would like best! Have a wonderful trip!!
