Need some teen advice on room sharing

We stay at moderates, spend lots of time in the parks...in the standard resort room it's a little cramped for my son's taste (he's thirteen, and almost six feet tall). I would be more than happy to book two rooms but I'm so concerned because I've read on the resort boards that you can't always get connecting rooms, and I wouldn't want us all split up with no connecting door. We've been looking at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness as an option... suites at CSR are a bit expensive...wish they made portable room dividers (lol)

Help!! Any suggestions? What appeals to you guys and girls as far as personal space on vacation?

Well, I know Coronado Springs has Queen beds. We usually go there for that reason! Caribbean beach may have them and I think Port Orleans does

You are right...and we love CBR and POR. I actually figured I would call and ask Disney! They told me that a minor travelling with two or less adults will get you a communicating room! So we will make our own mini-suites for now on!
