Need some Pixie Dust

We just returned from Disney World. My 7 year old left her little pink purse in the bath room at Animal Kingdom. It had some stickers, a few disney dollars, quarters and pennys - some already pressed and her pins for trading. By the time we went back to get it, about 10 minutes later it was gone. We checked lost and found every day for 4 days and no one turned it in. Who would steal a little girls purse at Disney World?? It really makes me lose my faith in people.

Did you check with lost and found? If they have it they will mail it to you.
My DH once left his camera on a ride at DW. We checked with lost and found,but they did not have it. They told us to check back later and we did.
Sure enough it had been turned into them.

Call lost and found again. My son lost his hat in August. We called lost and found while we were in Disney and they didn't have it. When we got home, my husband called again, and sure enough - they had it. They mailed it to us and my son was so excited. Good Luck!!

I called Lost and Found again today it's been 10 days and still no purse. It just makes me sad that what was most likely an adult would take what is so obviously a little girls purse. Should i keep trying lost and found?

My DDs backpack was stolen at DL. She left it on a counter after making a purchase, it was even 2 min. when we noticed and we ran back, it was gone and the CM had NO clue what we were talking about. Luckily her pins were in MY bag, but she lost her wallet with her school ID, Disney Dollars and about $20 cash, her autograph book and other "little girls" things that are important to them. It was a pink plush Minnie Mouse bag, very cute and obviously for a young child, DD was only 7 at the time! It was never turned in, we filled out a lost & found report for that and her hat (which she left someplace), we eventually got the hat back (Disney mailed it to us) but no backpack....like you said WHO steals a bag that is soooooooo obviously a child's bag?? Seriously, I was so upset......

I hope you get your DD's purse back.

They have cameras everywhere at Disney. I hope they don't have them in the bathroom. I wish they would check videos and catch people who do things like this.

Oh that's totally rotten. Yikes, makes me lose my last little drop of faith in humanity. Who would do that?!!

I would still check back a little while longer. I would like to think someone was honest & considerate enough to turn it in & that it just needed to make it through their Lost/Found processes!

It makes me sick to think that someone could/would actually take something not rightfully theirs period. However, to think that would happen in Disney of all places is just plain sad!

Next year will be the 1st time we go to Disney w/ a little one in a stroller. Makes me a little nervous on how that's going to work out...I can see me being paranoid about someone stealing my stroller or misc./inexpensive things we may choose to leave in it while on a ride.
