Need some P & PD - Update Page 2

Michelle, I hope all works out well for you. :grouphug: Please keep us posted.

If you're awake and reading this, I hope you can get some sleep. :grouphug:

I'm sure everything will be fine. I just had laprascopic surgery 2 weeks ago, I really only felt bad for a few days, now I'm fine, you can barely see the few scars.

Good luck, we're all thinking of you. :goodvibes

Hey, good luck. I've been through a few surgeries and, believe me, the *worst* part is the anticipation of it. Most all surgeries have the "tube down the throat" they just don't usually tell you about it. I found out after the fact on a few of my surgeries that they did this. I never even had any after-effects from it.

Hang in there. You will feel GREAT when it's all over with! :wizard:

Good luck on your surgery today! I'm sure everything will go just fine! Please let us know how you're feeling!!

If it helps, the people I have known who have had their gallbladder removed said it was a relief in the end. Their lives were so much better.

Thanks everyone!

I'm at my sister's house and sore and in pain, but otherwise I'm well. I did not wake up thankfully. Yesterday and today I voiced my concerns about waking up and they made sure they took good care of me.

My throat was fine after I woke up but now it is really sore. :confused3

Two of my incisions are seeping but hopefully they will stop bleeding soon.

The great news is that I do not have to go back in for a 2nd procedure!

It was a God-send that I was able to get in for the actual surgery so quickly because they said my gallbladder was so inflamed and was in danger of rupturing. Yesterday during the appointment the doctor had explained that if it was inflamed that he may have to cut me open. I am VERY thankful that he didn't have to do that.

Again, thanks for all the prayers & pixie dust and concern. :grouphug:

Glad to hear that everything had gone well.

Have your sister give you some ice chips for your throat. The pain will last for a 2-3 days, but it will get better.

Take care.

Good thoughts for a quick recovery.

Glad to hear everything went well! Feel better soon!

Thanks for the update & so glad it went well!

Sounds as if you & your doctor were alert to possible complications and it paid off!

I'm glad it went well. :)

Best wishes on a speedy recovery. Glad to hear it was much better than expected.

YAY!! Glad you are through with the procedure and it all went well. Must be a great relief.

Thanks all!

Last night I didn't get much sleep at all but I hope to make up for it today.

I am glad it went well. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I know it's a relief to have this procedure behind you. I'm glad all went well.

Wanted to say thanks again.

Today I was able to nap for 45 minutes. Maybe tonight will go better.

Last night I was able to sleep! WOOT! Today I feel so much more rested. And I'm not as sore! YAY! Around my belly button seems to be the most pain today but it isn't too bad.

Again, thanks everyone!

So good to hear you are doing well and recovering. Good thing the caught it when they did.

BTW, my dreaded root canal turned out to be not a big deal either, I am so glad it is over. :teeth:

Rest up! :flower: :sunny:
