If you're awake and reading this, I hope you can get some sleep.
I'm sure everything will be fine. I just had laprascopic surgery 2 weeks ago, I really only felt bad for a few days, now I'm fine, you can barely see the few scars.
Hey, good luck. I've been through a few surgeries and, believe me, the *worst* part is the anticipation of it. Most all surgeries have the "tube down the throat" they just don't usually tell you about it. I found out after the fact on a few of my surgeries that they did this. I never even had any after-effects from it.
Hang in there. You will feel GREAT when it's all over with!
I'm at my sister's house and sore and in pain, but otherwise I'm well. I did not wake up thankfully. Yesterday and today I voiced my concerns about waking up and they made sure they took good care of me.
My throat was fine after I woke up but now it is really sore.
Two of my incisions are seeping but hopefully they will stop bleeding soon.
The great news is that I do not have to go back in for a 2nd procedure!
It was a God-send that I was able to get in for the actual surgery so quickly because they said my gallbladder was so inflamed and was in danger of rupturing. Yesterday during the appointment the doctor had explained that if it was inflamed that he may have to cut me open. I am VERY thankful that he didn't have to do that.
Again, thanks for all the prayers & pixie dust and concern.
Last night I was able to sleep! WOOT! Today I feel so much more rested. And I'm not as sore! YAY! Around my belly button seems to be the most pain today but it isn't too bad.
