Our first trip to WDW last year we ate at only two restaraunts that needed reservations - Tappan Edo at Epcot and Sci-Fi at HS. We LOVED both of them but I kind of figured that, that's why I picked them. The food was good as well as the experience. Teppan Edo was one of our favorite memories, but now we have a similar restaraunt right around the corner from our house so it probably wouldn't have the same effect. So I am on the fence. Do I pick them again or try something new?

My thoughts were of if I were to try the new it may be the Prime Time Diner and Coral Reef. Do you think these would be good substitutions?

You know for us, we have our favorites, but we do like to switch things up too. Every trip has it's own character and flow, ya' know?

Ultimately, it's completely a matter of taste and your choice.

50s Prime Time Cafe and Coral Reef are my 2 favorites! Try something new next time!

We have some character meals that we do every year, but we always add new restaurants every year. Your first 2 are great choices. We have not tried 50s Prime Time Diner, but a lot of people say the food is good, and the servers will make you mind your table manners, reminding you to clean your plate, take your elbows off the table, chew with your mouth closed, etc. We ate at Coral Reef last year, and the food was really good. We were lucky and grateful, as we did not make reservations and were able to walk-in. The only thing I would have preferred was to get a table right at the glass wall, am not sure you can make a reservation for that seat location. Epcot has a lot more choices for dining that DHS.

We have our favorites too, but try to fit something new in when we can.

I have been to all 3 restuarants and they are all different from each other:

Coral Reef has very good food. It's pricer than the others. The atmosphere is good, but not themed. All tables can see the fish, but there are very limited tables right at the glass.

Prime Time Cafe has a really cute theme. The food is pretty good too.

I don't think you'd be disappointed in either.

There are so many good restraunts at Epcot and the resorts nearby I would for sure try something new.
Kouzzina at the Boardwalk. Cape May at the Beach Club.
The only restraunt I dont like at Epcot is Cantina de San Angel at Mexico. My fav is Le Cellier at Canada.
When it comes to Studios if you like Sci Fi then I would stick with it.
