Need some help to hunt down some ice cream places!

I have heard that there is an ice cream place over the bridge behind the castle going into Liberty Square that sells the world's best ice cream sandwiches. I was wondering if anyone could give me the name of the pace & directions to get there from Main Street. Also, we have heard that you can purchase an ice cream creation called "The Kitchen Sink" at the Yacht & Beach Club. Does anyone know what restuarant or store has that?

Kitchen Sink is at the Beaches and Cream restaurant at the Beach Club Resort.

not sure about the ice cream sandwhich place...the only place I can think of is Sleepy Hollow (counter service) near the Castle...not sure if that's the place though. (but they DO have good coffees and snacks!)

The BEST ice-cream sandwiches in the whole WORLD are at the bakery on Main Street. I had two of them while I was there. We LOVE ice-cream We also had one from one of the carts, and they are NOT THE SAME THING. Main Street Bakery. $3.50 YUMMY!!!

at the boardwalk resort, located on the boardwalk , i believe there is an ice cream place inside the candy store, i cant remember what the name is but right next to the flying fish restaruant

The name of the ice cream place on the Boardwalk is SeaShore Sweets. It is between Spoodles and the Flying Fish.

IMHO, the best ice cream place at WDW is Beaches and Cream! They also have yummy burgers.

It is Sleepy Hollow!!! And they do have the best ice cream sandwiches!!! We accidently discovered this while waiting for a parade one night--in all our trips, we never saw it before.

If you cross the 2nd bridge on the left (from Main Street), it will be right there after you cross. Or if you are coming from Fantasyland take the path behind the castle by Cinderella's fountain and it will lead you right there. In fact it's at the intersection of these 2 paths, They have a nice covered area right with picnic tables right behind it.

Also, the path from Cinderella's castle is a great place to watch spectomagic--you can lean against the railing, and no one is in front of you. You're not as close as being on the path, but a very good view.

Though certainly not "the best Ice cream in the world" check out the ice cream social at the land. It's a real bargain. My DD still talks about Chip and Mickey feeding her ice cream.

For great sundaes be sure to try Ghirradelli's at DTD. They are known for their chocolate and make great hot fudge sundaes!!

The ice cream place behind the castle could be Mrs. Potts Cupboard. It's located by the Winnie the Pooh ride.

Tough to top Beaches and Cream but in the MK just beforethe circular area in front of Walt and Mickey's statue, there is a great ice cream place on the right- we have had great sundaes in waffle bowls there. Hey, i'm not supposed to have ice cream on my diet!!! Anyway, in the past we enjoyed them!!!!!

My vote is for Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. They make the best Sundae's. And my family got the Kitchen Sink. It took my dh, my ds and my sil to eat it. Plus, a little bit for my dd and my dil. All of them are very big ice cream eaters and it still took all of them to finish it. Aside from all their great ice cream dishes. they make great burgers.

There's a place in France at EPCOT where you can get ice cream. Not sure how it is though; I've never tried it. They sell crepes at the same stand and I usually seem to get those.

In AK camp minnie - mickey, chip and dale's cookie cabin. Warm chocolate chip cookies and van. ice cream. Can't be beat!!
Now I want to go even more.
