Need Some Help Saving Pictures To A Memory Card

I know I have done this before, and it's not working. I have about 1000 pictures from a trip DH just returned from. We are going to visit some family tonight and want to show them some of the pictures. So, they are all saved on my computer. I put the ones I wanted to share on a memory card. They are being transferred there, because the memory card fills up. And, if I look on the memory card from my computer I can see them. I want to be able to view the pictures through my camera, though, and it says there are no images. What am I doing wrong, or is this just not possible?

do you have the original card....

if not try this..

I believe each camera has it's own file system, it will not recognize pics just loaded onto a card... take a picture with the camera, then read the card with your pc, you should see a folder that the pic is in, transfer your pics into that folder..

Thanks!!! That worked. It showed some of them as incompatible, but most of them worked!!! Thank you so much for the help.

I have found that if the pic has been rotated from it's original position, it will not show when loading back onto a card...
