Need some help figuring out days on DxDDP

Does the plan work from the 1st day of arrival to the day of check out in other words if you check in on Sunday and depart on Friday can you use it for a meal on Friday.
I am trying to remember from last year, and can't remember if we had anything left our last day there. Anybody know this, it will help in my planning

Any Disney Dining plan covers the number on NIGHTS of your stay, not days.

You can use your plan on check in day as well through midnight of the day you check out. I other words you can have dinner on your check out day.

The only problem would be if you decided to leave earlier than expected on the last day, but then you could just get CS meals to go.
