I have a very difficult personal situation to go through tomorrow and it's really affecting me. I even took off during lunch, set to go on a binge. :( I went to Walgreen's with every intention of buying a LOT of candy and sitting in my car, eating it. When I got there, I walked up and down the isle many times. I purchased some eye-liner and a carbo-lite milk chocolate bar and went to my car, where I had a good cry. :(

Crisis, not over, I headed for Burger King wanting fries!!! Well, I ordered a double cheeseburger w/mustard (YES, I tossed the bun) and a diet coke! I made it through this time, but I am not sure what tonight will bring.

Please keep me in your thoughts.... I really need it right now!

Kelsie, I am so sorry that you are going through a personal crisis. I know it is very difficult to make good choices when you are emotional, so next time you have the temptation log on to WISH and we will help you through it. My thoughts will be with you and positive vibes are headed your way.

we are here for ya Kelsie....................
I'm sending good thoughts your way..........

I am so sorry you are going through a difficult situation. You mentioned that it is through tommorow. Hold tight, and keep the faith, you will make it through. One thing that someone else mentioned to me once on the DIS was to remember that emotioanl eating might "feel good" at that moment, but later on it will only make you feel worse, and it might add to the stress you are under right now. Just think if you persevere, and hold strong, you will make it through this, and you can be proud that you stayed on track and you stayed in control, when everything else feels like it is out of control. Hugs to you, and hope all will be well.

Kelsie~
We are here for you! Sometimes eating seems to make us feel better, but we all know it doesn't resolve other problems....good for you for coming here to talk about it!
{{{{{HUGS}}}} to you!

A big {HUG} to you Kelsie that all will be back to normal soon for you. Those were two Huge, Giant Steps you took today to control your desire to binge. I'm proud of you, I know how hard that must have been for you. I also know how proud you must be feeling that you didn't give in. It's a Great feeling isn't it?
Here's hoping that you can do it again and again if you need to. Try to remember that we both started induction on the same day and your 6 pounds ahead of me,just trying to give you some inspiration:D

Sending you {{hugs}} and pixie dust ... hold strong! You've already shown more strength than I could have had. Thoughts and friends are with you ... always.

Thoughts and prayers with you!!

P.S. You should be sooooo incredibly proud of yourself!!!!

Kelsie: I just wanted to send {{{hugs}}} your way, knowing that you're struggling. You're doing great, though, so keep staying strong and come here right away if you feel the need to munch!! We're here for you! :)

FWIW, I had a *very* bad day this past Saturday and *gave in* to a binge -- I was drugging myself with food to ease the pain. It didn't help of course (at least not for long) so you KNOW you're doing the right thing to keep on avoiding that urge to emotionally eat!!

Aww, Kelsie! You are in my thoughts, sweetie!

Pretend that one of us wrote your post. Now what would you tell us? I know you would tell me that going off my plan would only be HURTING ME! I know you would tell me to look at how far I've come and to take a few minutes to appreciate this journey. I know you would tell me that it takes strength and committment to make the choices that we all make to live our healthier lifestyles and that we can't throw it away when a very stressful situation arises in our life.

So, Kelsie, please do me a favor. When you get that urge to binge or when you are feeling overwhelmed and upset, think about how much we love you and how much we care about you. We won't bite your head off or berate you if you DO turn to food for comfort (I've been there many times!) But please know that we are sending you tender thoughts and that we want you to take good care of yourself and not make choices that could make you feel sick. And feel guilty and beat yourself up.

When I look back on the painful times in my life, I know I felt scared and alone and sometimes just ready to die. But time passes and we move on from the hurt and the stress. This will pass for you and soon you will be feeling as exuberant and wonderful as can be!

Sending you thousands of hugs! There is NOTHING you can't do!

How did the eyeliner taste? (ha ha!)

Actually, it was a bit chalky and turned my tongue a lovely shade of 'Sugar Plum Ice' ;) :teeth:

Thanks for the smile!

You are all amazing!

OH Kelsie,

I would like to express my care and concern for you, but can't really find words that haven't already been used so eloquently. I think you showed incredible strength and grace under pressure. I hope your situation tomorrow turns out in the best possible way, and you can come to us and smile and breathe deeply the air of relief. I'll be thinking of you and you will be in my prayers.:)

Keep the Faith! (Sometimes, it's all we have.)

Kelsie- there are lots of shoulders here that can hold a lot of burden. PLease take advantage of that if you need to. I am so proud of you and the ability you have had to keep going . I guess you really meant it when you said that this was the last time you were going to be losing weight. You are a determined woman- one that is on a mission and you have set the standard for yourself and others when a time of crisis comes along. Thanks for the example you've set! HAng in there Kels- we are all here for you anytime. Hugs and prayers are floating your way. You can do it!

I liked what someone posted about "What would YOU say!" You're always one of the first people to offer encouragment and hoorahs for our efforts and struggles. Whatever it is you're going through- maybe you don't have that much control over- but realize you do have control over eating junk- that said, sometimes on my "meal of the day" I just have to sneak five cheetos- I don't feel guilty about it later but I was in control so that I only gave myself 5 not 40 like the old days! :) I managed to avoid the Cinnabons which would have wrecked my chances of hitting 10 pound clippie today! I am so happy I avoided that near miss- so don't eat when you're upset and know that we're here for you and will be sending WISHING hugs all day!
