numbers that I booked for October are no longer listed on Delta's website. Should I be concerned or would they just be booked up and taken off, or some other reason. Since I booked so early, I go there occasionally to see if the prices of my flights have changed...this time the flights I booked aren't there at all. What should I do?

Almost positive you are now on other flights. Yes, you should be concerned and call them to find out what they have done with you. You can get all the info and if you are not happy with what you now have, tell them and they will accomodate you best they can. Been there, done that, with Delta. They are really great about this but I would call asap and not wait till around Oct. because they/you will have less to work with. And pay attention after that too, because it can still happen again, esp. with the way thing are fluctuating with the travel market. They may add or delete flights and people end up getting switched around. Also, if you are a sky miles member and are registered on line you should be able to pull your itinarary up and verify. Good luck!

My August connecting flight from Newark to Orlando have all either changed, or the times just changed. I am a skymiles member, so I just went on line to view the changes, then I called Delta to get new seat assignments. I figure that they will also change again by August 2002.

We received our paper tickets in the mail for May on Delta and we have found that the flight numbers have all changed. yuck. Hopefully, that won't make a difference. Apparently they are changing around their planes.

I checked mine after reading this post, finding out its schedule had been changed, but in my favor. Somehow, the flight takes an hour less now and I am arriving one hour earlier. Like I'll mind it!

But I found out that if you want to use the kiosks to expedite your boarding pass, you'll need your skymiles card, which I did nto keep. So make sure that if you got e-tickets and want to rush through the waiting time, you either ask for new cards or bring your own!

The online site also said my seats were not assigned, although my selection was printed on teh e-tickets. They said it is an internal error, but worth confirming anyhow.

These changes occur with regularity at the seasonal changes/time changes. Two of our flights were changed by a few minutes and the flight numbers as well. Further, the seat assignments we had on those flights (even though the flight itself was the same flight) were discarded by the system.

Fortunately, I knew this was bound to happen, checked the itinerary on the website, and called on Monday very early a.m. I managed to get seats closer to the front of the plane on one flight and the same seats on the other leg.

The time changes were maybe 10 minutes earlier than originally scheduled, so no biggie and my guess is they moved passengers from an earlier flight that wasn't filling to our later one. Even if you have assigned seats and there's been a schedule/flight number change--I would call and reconfirm the seat assignments or you may not have the same seats as is noted on your ticket. If you do, all the better. The computer doesn't reassign the seats once the change is made to the flight.

Delta is also our carrier for this flight anyway.

Thanks for posting this. We bought our Delta tickets in December for our May trip. I just went to Deltas site and our departing time from Orlando coming home changed from 3:50 to 4:35. Which is much better. I was already wondering if we should try and switch our flight to the 9:55 one since we'll have Plus options and could go to a water park or back to WDW. I wonder if it would be easier to switch - with no penalty - since they made a change?
