Just looking for some advice/opinions so I can finally make up my mind.

I'll be going to WDW in early Jan. I have a dedicated 2BR booked at OKW. Some friends are coming down to give me support during the marathon weekend races (I'm going for the Goofy!).

I invited them down. I had no plans to charge them since I invited them and they're coming to cheer me on. But a couple of them keep bugging me about how much they owe me.(One is familiar with DVC as she used to go with in-laws, but has since sold their DVC).

As it is, I'm using points for the weeknights and booked a cash ressie for the Fri. & Sat. I'm already borrowed into my 2007 uy (needed 28 points to book the 2BR). I was thinking of using points for one of the weekends to save some money. But 54 points for one night (when the cost is only $275) makes me think otherwise.

Since they keep asking, I thought I'd just divvy up the cost of the weekend nights and let my friends pay for that. I hace 6 friends coming down so that would be $100 each. Here's my 2nd dilemma. A few are only coming for 2-3 nights, while others are coming for 6.

What do you guys think I should do?

Terri

If you are comfortable being their host and not charging them (I never charge my guests, either) maybe just have them buy you a nice meal, an evening at PI, a dinner show or Cirque.

No matter what you decide they are still getting a great deal. Thats why they might be insisting on paying something.

What you could do is take a total cost ( whatever you decide points +cash ) Devide that by the total number of days . Then devide thats cost per day by how many are staying of that night.

Or just flat rate them all the same price.

I would say I agree with this.

We have a couple who comes with us every year and we charge them $100/night. They find that to be very fair.
