So, I posted in another thread about our FD conundrum. We want to stay at CBR Dec 20-27. We can only book Dec 20-26 or 21-27. I spoke to guest services about getting the extra day applied - no dice.

I'll keep hunting for our desired dates, but want something set in case it never happens (I've been searching for several days already).

I'm thinking about adding a RO either on the 20th or 27th, but am undecided as to which would be easier...

RO on the 20th
It would be easier to switch rooms at the beginning of our stay if we had to...
Might be a possibility of a RO discount that wouldn't be offered the 27th.

But, can we get access to our park tickets on the 20th even though our package with the tickets doesn't start until the 21st? How do we do this?

RO on the 26th
No messing with accessing our tix early...
Would we still have access to our dining credits until midnight on the 26th?
Will I be able to book dining for the 26th as part of our 180+10?
It would be a pain to switch rooms at the end of our stay.

This probably shouldn't be a hard decision, but The whole split-stay thing is making me anxious!

Any advice would be very welcome! Cheers!

I would tack it on to the end of the stay. You're going to have to pack anyway, just keep what you'll need for the last day easily accessible for the last night. Disney can move your bags so you can still go about your day. You could ask that both reservations are connected and mention it when you check in to see if you can avoid moving. I don't know if they can or will do it but it's worth asking.

Thanks! I'm leaning that way just to avoid all the possible ticket issues on a very crowded week-end.

I would definitely tack on the room only at the end of your stay. Your FD will expire midnight of the 26th, so you could get any unused snack credits, or a few quick service meals in the evening of the 26th to use on the 27th.
