Need room info help for 1BR at Boulder Ridge.

Just switched our reservation to a 1BR at Boulder Ridge. I know nothing about the rooms and locations. Last time we stayed at Wilderness Lodge, they had just cleared the trees for the start of Copper Creek. From what little I have looked at, I would think a lake view up higher would be nice. How is the noise? Any chance to see the Water Parade from the room? How is the transportation? We have one person using a wheelchair- so I wonder if an accessible boat's easy/frequent or if we should try the bus for MK. Thanks for helping. We head out in just over a week.

They will be starting renovations at BRV sometime this year (full renovation). Lake views are nice now that they are cleared out. You should be able to get a boat to the MK that is accessible (they are the larger Friendship style boats).

You might be able to get an obstructed view of the water parade if you’re on the lake side of the building. We could see a little of it but don’t count on it.

I’m in a WC too. I know that not all boats are WC friendly there, so I stuck to busses.

I found the busses weren’t as frequent or consistent there as they share w the CR. We waited far longer there than we did at OKW for anything during our trip last week.
LOVED BR though. The last time we stayed at WL, they were just starting to build for DVC, and our room had an infestation of ghost ants. It took us this long to try it again and loved the resort. Not any of the food options tho. But loved our 1BR, the bldg, and the SMELL at entering the lodge. Was really nice and quiet.
