Need reminder about activating one ticket rather than another for a stay

That title isn't very clear, is it! But here is the issue. I am thinking of buying 4 of the DVC $199 tickets for family members who will be traveling with us in March. 2 of those people already have non-expiring hoppers but since the other 2 will only have the non-hopping $199 tickets I think it is more cost effective for the 2 with non-expiring hoppers to have the $199 tickets to use and save the hoppers. My plan is to buy the $199 tickets online and link them to the 4 people in MDE (they are already in my family list). Can I then deactivate the non-expiring hoppers for the 2 that have them or do I have to call to get this done. Sorry if this post is confusing.

I don't know if you can call to get this done, but what you want to do is prioritize the ticket media in the order in which you want the tickets used. I went to guest services to have them do this when I had an AP and also 2 day PH's. I didn't want the PH's to be used until the AP expired. So, they ordered them to use the AP first and the PH's second.
