Can anybody help??

You know, the ones you lay out on a cookie sheet and load up with butter and sugar??

Thanks in advance!

Can you please share your recipe? It sounds good. :)

It sounds good whatever it is---are you going to share the recipe?

YES!!! Please share!

I saw the title, and decided that that is EXACTLY what I want to bring to the cookout we are going to on Sunday. And of course, I will have to sample a few as well to make sure they are OK.

So, please, like Maggie said, stop talking to yourself, and talk to US and share!!!

Thanks

Debbie

I have three versions of this recipe from the Sweet Potato Queens. It's soooo yummy! It's in their Sweet Potato Queens Big *** Cookbook and Financial Planner book. The book is downstairs but I'll try to remember to bring it up tomorrow, if anyonr still needs the recipe(s).

edited: oops.. completely forgot about the bad word. It's rear end, but that's kind of obvious. lol

"French Tart Toffee"

Place 36-40 saltines (salt side up) on a cookie sheet (saltines should touch). On stove top melt together 2 sticks of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar. Cook until it looks like caramel. Pour over saltines and spread out evenly. Bake 15 min in oven at 325. During baking, the crackers will float, push them down with a spoon but don't remove from oven. Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips. Let chips melt and spread evenly. Refridgerate 2-3 hours then break toffee into pieces. Easy and yummy!
