Need quick opinions re: Christmas Cards

I need some input on this idea. I had my kids pictures taken and ordered some to put on our Christmas cards. I misjudged how many I needed. I only send these cards to people who would want pictures of the kids. I can't get any more on this short of notice.

We just returned from a trip to WDW and I have a really, really good picture of DH and the kids in front of the castle with no one around. I want to use it for the rest of the cards but DH thinks it's an awful idea because I'm not in it. I already had a dozen copies made.

The baby is only 1, in order for her to be in any picture someone has to hold her. And anyway, I hate being in pictures, so I'm perfectly fine with this.

What do you think? I'm going to base my decision on the opinions of the good people of the DIS.

I think it sounds like a fine idea.

I would not use the picture from WDW if you were not in the picture. The kids by themselves is OK, but not one with only one of the parents.

Do you have a scanner? Can you scan the one with the kids you had already taken and make copies on photo paper for the rest of the cards?

I think it fine, maybe make a one line note that you were taking it. And next time, let me take the picture.

Sounds good to me too...just be sure to sign your name so friends and family don't think you are "out of the picture".

I thought I would just write something like "Don't worry, I'm still here, someone had to take the picture." Plus, I always sign all our names. It really is a good picture. I'll try to post it here, I got a CD with it.

I think that sounds good - sort of funny, too. That should work just fine!
