need quick answer about help with luggage at csr

hi,
leaving in about 12 hours!!! i am so excited , but am worrying about all of the little things i didn't think of earlier. there will just be my dd and i and i understand csr is quite big, so how will we get our luggage to our room? do they have carts for us to borrow, or will someone take them for us? if there is someone to take them, how much should we tip them?

Bell Services is available at the main entrance. They will collect your bags and deliver them to your room. Standard tip prices I've seen is $1 per bag. Have fun!

When we stayed at CSR, we took the Mears shuttle. They dropped us off at the separate (small) bldg where the luggage is handled. It is off to the left of the main entrance.
Then after a wait they came and took our luggage and gave us a claim ticket.
Then we went into the lobby and checked in.
Afterwards, we went back to the luggage area and someone promptly took us to our room (Casitas 4).
We did tip the CM.
Pick up of the luggage was very easy. We told them the day before what time Mears would be there to pick us up. And a CM was right on time to haul us and our luggage back to the area we were dropped off.
We had early check in (around noon or just after). And the luggage area was very busy with people checking out. We did have to wait quite awhile at arrival. Hopefully you won't run across that. Just wanted to mention this in case you had an early check in too.

Agreed - checking in during check-out time is a hassle! This happened to us at WL in December while we were checking out so we just took our own stuff. Hopefully since you are checking in mid-week you will be spared. Good luck!

thanks Luv2Roam. we probably won't arrive much before 3:00pm so hopefully it won't be too bad, but even if we do have to wait that's ok....we'll be happy to finally be at wdw!!
